For the small child the mermaid show is great as is the Very Large Aquarium.

Plenty of places to eat, the bowling center, movie theater, show room, arcade and of course the casino.

Whenever in Las Vegas I always visit the South Point Casino, a very friendly and enjoyable experiences.

Casino is huge and so many nice places to eat inside.

South point is a great casino, been there multiple times since 2015.

This has been done by many casinos for years.

The good thing about the casino was there are so many places to eat!

There is a spa, pool, bars, casino, restaurants, gift shop, and even the largest horse/equine arena in the United States.

This is a locals casino and they offer great value.

You walk into the casino and the bars and the Starbucks and restaurants and music!

south point casino is really becoming my go to place.

I really appreciate all of the security on the casino floor.

Have always enjoyed the casino and really like the multiple options of things to do.

but it was nice coming back to a quieter casino after long days on the strip.

The casino attracts a lot of seniors and moms and dads.

The cigarette smoke in the casino was not too awful.

The casino, I cannot believe Vegas allows smoking indoors.

However, in typical Vegas fashion, you must cross through the casino (where smoking, vaping, etc is allowed) to get to the elevators.

Smoke and dust just everywher in the air.

The only negative we could find was the second hand smoke mentioned in other reviews.

but we never stunk of smoke on our clothes as we had in previous years.

Have some empathy and respect for the animals you parade around and force to be shown. Disgusting.

but with some caveats to non smoking non gambling folks.

a lot of the complaints on these reviews have been fixed since the reviewer stayed at the hotel
1. there is no more overwhelming smoke clouds in the casino, it no more smokey then anyother vegas hotel, they must have upgraded their vents
2. i used a debit card for my deposit on the room and got the money back in 5 days without me having to call in.

The smell of cigarette smoke was too overpowering to spend anymore than a moment or two in the casino.

but the casino appeared to be nice as well--no hint of cigarette smoke.

The stink is omnipresent and nowhere on the casino floor can you escape it.

Cons:  Elevator floors were filthy
Cons: slots were not very loose.

Felt safe and inside they have the aquarium, a sight to see.

My wife maintains several salt-water aquariums at home so she was mesmerized by the aquarium inside the Casino at the entrance to the Pro Bass Shop.

The best attraction was the aquarium with all the beatiful fishes.

Loved the aquarium and the mermaid, I could have watched that for hours.

The floor to ceiling aquarium at the entrance is mesmerizing for folks of all ages!

Nice walk through the attached outdoor store and the cool aquarium.

The Mermaid and fish aquarium is awesome!

Love the mermaid attraction and aquarium is so pleasant and peaceful.

She swam with an "official" mermaid in the huge aquarium located in front of the Bass Pro shops at Silverton.

If you have children, the HUGE aquarium with the mermaid that swims with the fish is FABULOUS!! !

Comfy beds, too many blankets, glasses in halls not removed daily, no refrigerator in room, good valet, good staff, friendly, good aquarium.

The aquarium and swimming mermaid wereally awesome.

My favorite was the large aquarium near bass pro shop!

The Silverton has a very large aquarium which at first seemed neat, some of the fish and sting rays looked rather unhealthy; one of the largest stingrays (See photo) appeared to have had its tail cut off.

Had visited Silverton on a previous trip to check out the property, see the awesome aquarium, and play in the casino.

The Silverton is my favorite hotel and casino
off of the Las Vegas Strip.

The casino was nice and the food at the Mermaid Bar was great.

The casino barley smelled like smoke and was very pleasant.

Best renovation ever ~ great crew members, from the front desk staff to the casino hosts, a must stay in this incredible hotel/casino.

We had great service in the casino while playing some of the games & also had great service at The Sundance Cafe.

The casino is a great place to spend a few hours and has all types of slot machines and gaming tables to suit everyone and the cocktail waitresses are always around to provide drinks.

The offers you get with the players card are better than any casino on the strip !

Silverton Casino Lodge Staff (The Lodge Host Miriam & Brian (Manager)), Front Desk Staff and Manager, VIP services  Rep, Housekeeping and  Valet Staff (Chris), The Casino Club Staff, and Sundance Restaurant Staff, are all genuinely “Awesome.”   Our stay at Silverton is worth our travel from San Diego.

Most of the original staff have left for better opportunities at other Casinos (Southpoint/Durango).

The casino floor has lots of the new games and is very spacious.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, and the casino floor was vibrant and inviting.

For those who travel often, especially on the Las Vegas Strip know that mini fridges are far and few in between for personal use.

Four dollars for a cup of coffee is a bit much.

suggestion:  refrigerators and coffee machines in the rooms would be nice.

No refrigerator, no coffee maker, no table to sit at.

even though I couldn't connect my iPad to the tv and there was no fridge in the room.

There is also no fridge or microwave in case of dinner leftovers.

There was no refrigerator,  no microwave, And no coffee maker.

Liked the least, no coffee pot in the room.

Miss the refrigerator in the room, ice machines need filters or changed if they have one,: funky tasting ice.

If not that a small side table so as to put the coffee maker on, so you don't have to put coffee maker in the bathroom and take the space from your vanity mirror.

The only set-back during the stay was that there was no microwave and small fridge.

FYI, there are no refrigerators or coffee makers in the room.

Carpet in my twin queen room was filthy, casino had a funky odor, aside from the cigarette smoke.

Housekeeping doesn't vacuum the baseboards in the rooms or hallways. Filthy!!!

There was holes in the shower and the bath tub drain was clogged and hardly moving.

The casino doesn't smell like smoke either, most other casinos your clothes smell like smoke.

The room smelled and felt like a damp basement.

1st room smelled like moldy towels left in the room for days on end, second room smelled like something we cannot describe, the diner took for ever to get service and it wasn't that great for the price regrdless of getting a 50% off coupon for signing up for their card.

however my only gripe is that there is no non-smoking area and we have asthma and my eyes were burning.

We didn't sleep well with the smell of smoke and the smell of weed through out the hotel. .

The rooms and corridors stink like smoke and mildew.

The only room available was a smoking room.

Smells awful with a mixture of cigarettes, alcohol and whatever else folks are smoking or vaping.

Strong smell of weed in the halls and gust areas as well as wrong reservation type and also had poor quality food at the Buffet.

The toilet leaked and the room had an odd smell to it.

Towels are disgusting they are very worn out and almost grey color.

Oh there's a really big game fish aquarium in the lobby, next to the Outdoor World store if that's your thing.

The front desk grudgingly said they'd send up towels and soap,

room towel holder fell off wall at first use, washbasin faucet faulty- only hot water- and shower light inoperative.

The       mattress had huge yellow stains, pubic hair in the shower, blood on the lamp shade the sink was clogged.

but it became unbearable when the shower head would not stay in place enough for someone none handicapped to shower.

although the bathroom was really small 
Our room failed to be cleaned so I rang the front desk.

The hotel smells like weed, pool closes at 900 PM, pillows are flat, bed is extremely uncomfortable, carpet is stained and filthy, a dirty wash cloth was left hanging on the shower door, and the rooms look nothing like the website.

No water available in your room unless you don't mind drinking  out of the bathroom faucet.

SHOWER HAD low pressure, TOILET is sma like for children not adults.

Our only niggle was that there was so little room in the toilet/shower, we had to get in the shower cubicle in order to open & shut the toilet door.

Other than Internet & Parking, staff could not tell me what $28.22 Resort Fee was for

Carpets were sticky and the bathroom fixtures needed maintenance.

but the carpets were just atrocious in the hallway and in the room, bathroom was incredibly small, but we got a good sleep and it got the job done.

Bathroom door  is ridiculously close to the toilet, you kind of have to step in the shower to close the door.

but bizarrely designed - plenty of floor space but the toilet and shower are jammed into a tiny space - why?

Instead of a friendly “hello” or even a return “Good Morning” - I was treated like a criminal and scolded to remove my hood in hotel and casino.

Silver Sevens is a prime example of a classic Vegas Hotel and Casino.

They have a really nice restaurant and the staff are very professional I highly recommend this casino  you will not be let down

We booked a last minute get away and selected silver seven as it seemed like a great choice for smaller casino.

We did on 4 occasions, mainly for fresh towels and only one time did they attend 
The casino was quiet and there were only two waitresses on .

Casino  is okay , food is okay, Cleanliness is good, and they need more servers on the casino floor .

The casino is safe and drink service is very good.

Casino wasn’t too stinky and neither were hallways, great views from window, great pools.

Meanwhile, we won 600$ at a nice casino on strip.

but adequate and security officers on casino floor.

After eating I played in the casino and had fun.

This Casino is friendly, great service, and the winning is a plus.

While it is not a large casino, it has a recent cafe and a well stocked gift shop.

Makes a change from being in the huge casinos.

Just had 3 weeks holiday at this hotel where the management and staff are so helpful and accommodating.We have made many friends over the past 20 years of coming here and would like to say a big thank you to Cole Cosgrove Assistant Hotel Manager, Jackie Casino Host, Secert Cocktail Waitress, Laura Mullins in the Sterling Spoon Cafe, Kathy Boike in the Cage and Gloria Smith Security who made our stay very pleasant.

( I suppose this explains the shopping bags of trash in the hallways.)

but like the hallways, its routine maintenance upkeep can use some better attention.

Having respiratory issues, I was surprised to find that our room smelt like an ashtray and people were openly smoking in the hallway.

The hallway to the room had a definite smell,

The carpet in the hallway to the guest rooms had  black and red stains.

The only way to describe the hallway carpet is it looks like it was salvaged from the dump.

The HALL ways smelled like really strong cleaning chemicals and cigarettes mixed.

Skimped on 50$ and ended up with a room down a long dark hallway, dirty carpets that were attempted to be covered up with industrial cleaners which wreaked the hallways into the rooms.

Hallway walls and elevator are stained as well.

Elevator and hallways smell put red like they have over sprayed the stink.

Also the halls smelled so bad it was difficult to walk down them.

Just entering the hallways and the check-in desk they had so much perfume pumped in the air he could barely stand it.

The stench of deodorizer in the hallways was overwhelming.

even the peep hole to the hallway had something blocking it.

Hallways smelled musty and the bathtub looked like it needed a thorough cleaning.

The hallways literally smell like an unkempt bathroom.

The hallways are dark, dirty and smell awful.

A/C unit automated so unable to turn off when pot smokers in poolside rooms below were in residence.

but the housekeeping of the corridors' baseboards and floors appeared a bit lackluster with some visible dust and debris buildup.

HOWEVER, this is NOT a non-smoking hotel as advertised! 🤬🤬🤬.

Non-smoking room was smoky and had very thin walls.

close enough to walk to strip.only downside was the extreme smoke from lobby & gaming room.

The hallways and carpet stink and the elevator is a disaster.

but carpets were thilthy, wall had mold on it, paint was all jacked up, hotel smelled of smoke,alarms were not on, But the beds were really comfortable.

Bad headaches and hot sweats not a  comfortable hotel.

After checking in you will walk down dark, smelly hallway on carpet that is extremely stained.

It smells like an ask tray filled with week old cigarettes.

Had stained rugs, smelled of urine and tobacco.

I've never been to such a disgusting and rude hotel, book anywhere else

So it’s to be expected to be not as opulent as other properties nearby and my room had bits of paper and smelled of wet animals .

There is a clear waterside going thru the aquarium even!

Love the way it’s laid out with easy access to the parking garage (we stayed in the Carson Tower, 17th floor) and Starbucks, Chick-fill-A, two other restaurants and the 4 star pool with a giant aquarium in the middle.

It features padded lounge chairs, a waterslide and a huge aquarium in the middle stocked with fish, sharks and stingrays.

I am so sad that we came here in January because I couldn't check out the pool slide with the shark aquarium.

The pool was amazing with the aquarium as part of the pool.

The other big draw is the water slide that goes straight through the aquarium with a glass tunnel – in reality you are going far too quickly to see anything, yet it’s still a cool and very fun experience.

The pool is beautiful with a waterfall, slide,huge aquarium with sharks you can swim next to and seating wall to wall for everyone to have a spot.

Love watching the aquarium while enjoying the pool.

I love the aquarium in the middle of the pool--it was fascinating to watch the fish and sharks up close and I could see that all the kids at the pool really enjoyed it.

Pool area very nice and the aquarium was cool too.

Other highlights include the Shark Tank aquarium next to the pool and the Golden Nugget exhibit; both worth seeing.

but the large aquarium by the pool was a nice touch.

They treat you so good there lv it there it is a 5 star place for sure they were always so happy to make your stay much nicer .i would recommend them 100% for sure  very pretty .We loved the fish aquarium and water slide was awesome.

We used to enjoy going "Casino Hopping" during the day.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, central located, excellent casino and all those points for a really fair price.

I was told by a rude woman who answered the phone in housekeeping that I would NOT be getting 4 additional coffee pods in my suite that has a coffee maker that I stayed in for 4 nights. Really?

The hotel was quite good except there's no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, no fridge either.
