Lastly, eventhough  this is an all inclusive resort the workers DEFINITELY be fishing for those tips.

Cons: On top ofl the HIGH all-inclusive fee, you must shell out more $ for prime cabanas or lounge chairs with umbrellas at pool and on beach.

The weather has been great, the service is top-notch, the food is the best that we have had in any all-inclusive or regular hotel.

Only thing i highly hated was the playa collection staff bothering with their timeshare.

It may have been amazing when Playa owned it,

I insisted that we should not be charged and reluctantly they 'waived' the additional fee for us.

Which tells me they're probably not getting paid what they deserve.

They don’t provide them anymore and charge $12 USD for a metal straw.

The spa - They were running a promotion to get an 80 minute massage at the price for a 50 minute so I took advantage of it plus they added on Hydrotherapy treatment.

As I explained to him a bunch of people were upset they couldn’t sit in or by the pool unless they paid $80 for a cabana each day (which came with 2 loungers in the pool) As Mr.Rojas explained to me this money grab was put in place by previous management

There is also entertainment every day and night, with a range of shows and classes at no extra cost.

The only downsides of our stay were the terrible sales pitch on check in, super misleading and time wasting. He promised a three minute chat to provide us our welcome package, turned into a 15 minute guilt trip to sign up for a 90 minute sales pitch saying "he wouldn't get paid if we didn't attend."

The premium wine was a tab on the expensive side,

And far too many hidden fees, especially for things which should have been included (ex: a chair by the pool or on the beach, a seat to watch the nightly entertainment , etc. ).

Once those are taken, you either have to pay for a chair or cabana, or find a place to store your stuff.

but not if I could find something close to price.

He told me if I paid him I could sit there.

Little if any consideration for the guests unless you want to pay extra as in the seating around the pool and at the beach.

This is additional cost and is not cheap.

though it's an all inclusive, there are plenty of things they want you to pay an extra charge for so just stick to the normal menus and you'll be fine!

but the only way you could get a poolside chair is if you pay money for a cabana.

Consistent high quality food and beverage choices, friendly professional staff who are eager to assist you and make the most of your stay.

The hibachi dinner is fun and books up quickly.

The food was excellent and I’d recommend trying the Chefs Plate.

We did the dinner on the beach and it was amazing.

The culinary delights at the resort are truly remarkable, offering a diverse and delicious menu.

We rented cabanas on two days, and we also had a romantic dinner by the water.

Pools and beach were lovely, and food was tasty.

Building is beautiful, food is great, staff good and beach is perfect.

The shows were great, and with one exception, so was the food.

The location is in walking distance to luxury shopping and several quality restaurants.

Restaurants ( especially the one facing the beach) are good.

The white party, the Cabernet show, karaoke and the dj’s!

My personal favorite was the Mexican Night, and the Michael Jackson night!

The hosted a variety of great entertainment from day activities to spectacular shows.

The evening shows were okay - neither too good nor bad.

Hotel offers non-stop entertainment and rooms are tended to constantly.

We were also pleasantly surprised by the evening shows.

The evening shows are superb--I have been to many different resorts and this one had the best shows I have ever seen.

There are shows every night, plus fitness classes, a gym & lots of activities/parties.

While there are upgraded dinner options, spa services and cabanas available, they are not high pressure sales.

Note: I HIGHLY recommend Lucero is you book a massage. Incredible!!!

We also took advantage of their spa twice, which was so relaxing.

The hotel and grounds were kept impeccably clean and the amenities, eg: fitness center and classes and the spa were the icing on the cake.

We went to the spa- very unique & again staff are unbelievable.

I’d like to particularly commend Ivan, David, Isal, Sergio and Humberto in the bar & pool area, Martha in the spa and Ambassador team Ingrid, Ana, Monica, Paulina.

The spa experience was phenomenal and the beach was very well kept and pretty would definitely recommend a stay here.

Special kudos to some staffs who are really great asset to the team, Cesar Banron at Marie Marie, Nohemi at zen Spa, Abimael at the lounge space.

The service and staff members are so amazing, especially Dianna (pilates/water aerobics instructor), Jose (who works in the gym), Jonathan (activities coordinator), Roberto (waiter at Spice), Ernesto (bartender at The Den cocktail bar), Arturo and Valdemar (waiters at Punta Vista), Francisco (Asiana hibachi chef), and Williams and Alejandro (who worked in the spa).

The pool and beach are so beautiful, we enjoy walking on the beach every morning.

We asked a staff member walking by how we should book the cabana and they said they would do it and for us to wait there for him.

The beach is spectacular and we loved walking it once or twice daily with a drink in hand.

Walk out the sliding door facing the ocean and take 3 steps and you are in your semi-private pool shared with 4 other suites.

The service from the moment you walk in is incredible.

We got a swim-up room again and I just love being able to walk out onto my patio and get into the pool with my own private chairs in the water

The location within the hotel zone is spot on - about 20 mins walk to the main bars or a 3-4 minute Uber/Taxi.

Pool attendants are always walking around to ensure you always have a drink.

They made us feel so special from the time we walked in, to the time we checked out.

In part of guest services the hospitality and awesome attitude of Alejandra made a great first impression walking in.

It was right on the beach with an amazing view.

The beach and food and services were all very good.

The sand and beach is kept extremely clean.

The hotel has a great white beach with no sargassum.

On a good note, the beach remains beautiful.

Excellent beach, great diving with Scuba Du on site, great snorkeling on site, pretty pool, good restaurants on site, incredibly clean & well maintained, large nice rooms, great service in every way, only 5 min cab to town.

The staff are so nice, the beach is perfect.

I was pleased to find two pools and an okay beach (it's on the lagoon side which isn't as nice as the ocean side in my opinion).

We looked for a place where we could rent a couple of chairs for the day and enjoy the beach and ocean.

The real gem of the hotel is the pool and beach areas - 2 large swimming pools and probably the best piece of beach in the Hotel Zone.

They have an activities area with jet skis you can rent right at the hotel beach.

The part of the beach that the hotel has is by far the widest, cleanest and quietest, we didn’t feel like we were in the usual madness/party atmosphere of Cancun which really suited us.

I absolutely recommend this hotel because of the beach (the best in Cancun), excellent food and outstanding service (specially Victor in the beach area).

The best thing of this hotel is the beach with super soft sand and incredible ocean view.

but overall the Hotel's beach is a beautiful exception to the majority of Cancun beaches.

The club lounge wasn’t of IHG usual standards.

The club lounge was fairly large with plenty of indoor and outside seating.

Mariano was excellent in the Club Lounge.

The room also comes with access to the ground floor club lounge, where they serve a breakfast buffet every morning and snacks, drinks and desserts in the evenings to those who booked an eligible room type.

(Big thanks to Ganzalo and Jeremy at the beach bar, Alberto and Antonio at Le Cap, Francisco at the lobby bar, and the team in the Club Lounge who made breakfast a consistently good day starter.)

Great pool area, small kids club… the club lounge was great for evening drinks and breakfast.

We always get the club lounge and a room with an outdoor shower(completely private) which is on the M floor not the 11th.

We had access to the Club Lounge and definitely was worth the extra price.

Francisco, who is the bar tender and works in the Club Lounge provided excellent customer service!

This led towards the reception and club lounge.

Due to covid restrictions, a number of amenities are still closed down—gym, 2 other restaurants, the club lounge, and a suite tower.

Breakfast and Happy Hour at The Club Lounge was always great..

This year we were especially impressed with Carlos and Gustavo from the Club Lounge, they remembered us and the customer service was the best!

Everyone working the IHG desk and the club lounge was more than friendly and helpful.

Humberto Santos was very helpful to us several times and the service in the beach bar, restaurants, and club lounge was A+.

We took the club lounge and was no disappointment, the margaritas were great.

The Club lounge on the first floor hosted a continental breakfast in the lobby area, and happy hour drinks and buffet from 6 pm.

Breakfast in the club lounge was a huge buffet of eggs, pastries, fruits, sausage bacon, veggies, juices, coffee, tea.

Check In: I'm Spire/Ambassador and this was not recognized at all outside of a $20 F&B credit.

Next, they don’t understand how to merge reservations, (every hotel gets this) today I set my key card 5x, and that’s a normal day.. I’m a IHG credit card holder, and I have my card linked to my room

I stayed at the InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort in the Cancun Hotel Zone and the rep at the from desk that attended me during check-in, Shirley, would not give me a logical explanation as to why there were additional charges at the time of check-in.

I got the invoice and emailed the Presidente hotel requesting information that proved my original reservation had been canceled to no avail.

but they wanted to charge us extra for a 6th floor, equally smelly room.

however, you pay for food and drinks in addition to your room charge.
