This is a beautiful, all inclusive property with gorgeous views.

This 7 nights all-inclusive stay was the best trip ever!

The All Inclusive Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun, absolutely fits into this category.

Hotel: Live Aqua Cancun: Ocean Front – Premium Room King Bed – all inclusive: 4.5 Stars!

The food is better than most all inclusive resorts and I have stayed at more than 20.

I would recommend several other all inclusive in the Cancun area,

Third night we went to MB which is their nicest of the all-inclusive restaurants.

Ala carte food was quit average for an all inclusive.

Live Aqua was an all inclusive and adult only resort.

The resort as a whole is everything you could want in an all inclusive resort.

There are too many all inclusive resorts that offer a higher quality across the board for any of these areas to be skimped on.

but this place does not feel like a typical all inclusive resort, more like a hotel with a very nice pool and beach.

The best food I've experienced at any all-inclusive
▪︎ Make the tipping culture clearer upon booking.

This hotel is the best all inclusive we have ever stayed in.

This resort also charges for normal amenities and is far from all inclusive.

This was an awesome and fun all-inclusive adult only resort.

This all-inclusive is awesome if you like low key grownup vibes.

One of the best all inclusive we have been to.

Don't miss an excellent breakfast at Siete and request to sit in Jose's section.

The 6 restaurant selection and outside grilling food court gave many delicious choices no matter what meal you were eating.

Cesar (Buffet and NYE Host)
Estephany (Front Desk)
Ricardo (server at Azur NYE)
Noe (supervisor) was so kind
Jonathan (supervisor)
Aminael
The director of operations, gentleman who was always walking around attentively and introduced us to Alfredo was so kind
The cartoonist vendors (floor P)
Maria (Ino) cigar vendor (floor P)

If you need a trusted taxi driver that will treat you like family ask for Max Martinez when requesting a taxi in the lobby he is amazing!

The food was delicious (I did get an upset tummy troubles into day 5 and 6 -

At check-in you’re met with the same kind of sales pitch at a lot of the resorts where they’ll dangle a promotion of discounts during excursions for a breakfast sponsored by the hotel to try to get you to buy-in on timeshares.

Dorcas in Siete was a friendly face each morning when we came down to breakfast.

The breakfast spread was unforgettable, a staggering array of over 50 options, all cooked very well.

Other mentions for Elam at the towel hut, Alfredo at Azur (great place for breakfast with a view!

The buffet breakfast was top quality as were the Azur and MB restaurants.

The chefs preparing the fresh morning omelettes were amazing!

We also liked the breakfast buffet area, which has a different atmosphere during the evening when it opens as an evening restaurant, lunchtime burger/hot dog stall, the crepe stall, and the grill one and went to the Ozur restaurant overlooking the beach area.

David at Siete, who started our mornings off always having everything we needed at breakfast and Nelci making the best omelettes and eggs around.

Montse that is the host for the breakfast buffet is extremely bright, kind, and attentive.

The restaurants were all unique with inviting and warm settings with delicious fares.

Breakfast was topped off by Marco the amazing smoothie man!

Oscar, Mauricio and Marco at breakfast every day was a wonderful way to start every day which was always magical.

The breakfast selection at the buffet is similar each day with little culinary variety.

After we were shown the hotel & room I thought it was new construction instead of over four decades old.

-so remember how I had the con for the construction next store?

They put us in a room next directly next to a construction zone.

We were initially placed on the right side of the hotel near the construction of the new RIU hotel which was very noisy, so the hotel was flexible and put us on the other side with an ocean view, making our 6th anniversary truly special.

I requested to change the room due to a lot of noise from constructions.

While there was construction next door, I didn’t hear it once.

Construction site next door was a major eye sore.

Imagine our shock on entering our garden view room after checking in , the whole view from the balcony is a construction site , not the type of garden view I had in mind when I booked !!

Cons: resort is older and needs some updates/maintenance, not many daily activities at the resort, location is not very private (noisy construction next door).

A large hotel is under construction next door, creating an intermittent noise problem for the next few months.

The daily construction noise was terrible and continued til 1 and sometime 2 am in the morning.

I was ok with the room until the 1st morning when I woke up and there was a lot of construction going on next door.

Be aware that “premium garden view rooms” may well place you on one side of the hotel facing a new construction next door, while the other side puts you over the mechanical plant and it’s constant noise.

I would ask for a room where you can’t see the construction – if possible.

Our room was room 1264 and should be blocked off until the construction is done.

When we were there, there was quite a bit of remodeling happening and we’re looking forward to going back and seeing the updates!

We could have looked over a construction site next door and not had the night time noise, so the couple of evenings of musical noise were not a bad trade off!

Neither Monse or Alajandra(manager) at the front check in counter was able to find me a room that wasn't extremely loud due to construction or from huge air vents for the hotel.

Very attentive and suggestive with meals.

The food was wonderful; high quality, smaller portions with interesting presentations, all with a professional and approachable staff.

The food was phenomenal as well as his Service.

At the end of our dinner he surprised us with these special plates with great conversation (not knowing we were here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary) so it was extra special!

Every course was fantastic and was our favorite meal at Lice Aqua.

Azur restaurant is a favorite for location on the resort.

The food for New Year’s Eve was great quality food, very well made, and presented.

The property is beautifully maintained and the food is just fabulous.

The food was amazing and the pool and Beach area were spectacular.

They definitely do not skimp out on the alcohol at the bars/restaurants which was a huge bonus

Also, Caeser at the Mb restaurant was incredible.

Our favorite was Azul, the Mediterranean restaurant.

Rudulpho the Manager of MB and Kevin our waiter was impeccable and showed all of their great service experience!

Our experience was made even better by the service provided by our

In-room dining - it is a great service and all the food is delicious.

but nothing compares to the service and the people of the live aqua staff team.

Excellent food and excellent service by Angel and Petricia at Hidden garden asian restaurant.

Housekeeping service was impeccable, the room was cleaned spotlessly everyday and the turndown service was a nice touch.

All of the restaurants had wonderful service.

The service after all is good very much!!!

The service from the point of check-in, to the hotel staff,

We ate like kings at every restaurant with top notch service & incredible food!

The drinks service on the beach was the best that I had ever experienced as they came round often which for me was good for my water, sprite, or a cheeky cocktail (or two – I do like a pina colada or Cosmopolitan).

The Aqua lounge was a great place to watch football games while enjoying great service and appetizers.

We had facials and massages and used the hydrotherapy, sauna, and vapor room each day we had a service.

It was relaxing, the spa services and attendants were some of the best that I have encountered with extensive traveling.

We got massages during our stay and it was personalized and the greatest massage I have ever gotten.

Rebecca in the lobby gives amazing hand massages and was very helpful with spa bookings.

I liked the beach area and the fact that on most days we could either sit on the breach loungers or book a cabana with its included foot massage.

They helped us with check in, helped make spa and restaurant reservations and checked in consistently to make sure our stay was perfect.

The couples massage was one that made my husband fall in love with professional massages.

Alexandra, Hector, Flavio and Jonathan at the towel hut - thank you so much for always, without fail, setting us up in our cabana and scheduling my foot massages like clockwork.

Elena and Karina give the best foot massages ever!!!

Try the spa, they have excellent masseuses on staff.

If I'd known this, I would've budgeted it in to my trip

To conclude, this is a wonderful resort with many positives; the spa, amazing rooms, great choice of restaurants, immaculate grounds and near to the airport.

Morelia for helping ro arrange things before we arrived, Daniel and Guillermo in the Aqua lounge for their excellent service, Flavio and his team (including Hector the protector) for ensuring our cabana experience was seamless, Gabriel (Gabo) for making sure we stayed hydrated on the beach, Elena, Nancy and Mayeli for our wonderful foot massages, David our wonderful waiter at Sea Corner, our

We loved the daily foot massages and cabana as well as the included couples massage.

Special shout out to: Jon at pool area; Santos and Raul at Azur; Rebeca, Daisy, Alexia, Sonia and Lucy Spa Team; Siete: Daniel, Marco, Ana, Franco, Hector, Cristiano and Rosalindo; Cesar at Sea Corner; At Sushi : Julio chef, sushi chef Carlos Gonzalez, SushiChef Jonathan; Mb: Julio, Frida; Cabana Hut: Miguel, Edouard, Rodrigo, Alexandra, Flavio, Hector, Rodrigo; Paella: Luis; Eduardo at Hidden Garden; Burger grill: Porfi; Bracelets: Erick; Bbq chicken: Jose.

The hotel itself was great as well I appreciated the spa like feel and the crowd was great.

My wife and I did the couples massages and that was very relaxing.

It was cleaned daily and turned down at night with accompanying aromatherapy scents for our pillows.

Thank you Alfredo and Ashley for you leadership in putting together the best team in Cancun.

You could feel he is passionate in hospitality and our dining experience was nothing short of enjoyable with Omar as our server!

Live Aqua is lucky to have him as an employee!

Very helpful with restaurant recommendations and restaurant and cabana reservations.

He was very helpful with menu recommendations and was a very friendly server.

Thank you Live Aqua team and we will see you soon!

The staff was incredible and went out of their way to make our experience so memorable.

The staff were excellent too - they all work very hard.

The staff here were also super friendly and very helpful with any questions or needs that we may have.

I'd like to give a shout out to Roberto and Kenya our

Everyone at the resort was very attentive, polite and helpful.

He recommended and explained each meal for us.

The best part of Live Aqua is definitely the staff.

We met a few folks, prayed for restoring relationships and family.

The staff here will bend over backwards to resolve it and they are truly interested in feedback.

His experience, care and hard work were very appreciated by everyone in our group.

Hotel Personnel who had a direct impact on our stay was the Ashley Garcia who should be revered for his dedication to leadership and hospitality.

Omar at Azur made the experience extra special for me and my wife.

They definitely made the experience better in spite of some of the deficiencies of the resort.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Live Aqua for 8 nights in Dec 2023 and it was a magical experience.

Among the most opulent experiences in Cancun, this place stands out.

Cesar at MB stood out the most with his warmth and willingness to make our final meal unlike anything we experienced.

Their goal is to truly make your experience super special.

We had an excellent experience at the carnivore restaurant, they gave us the service from the Italian place and it was amazing
…………………………………………………………………………………………………….

House Keeping: Our housekeeping experiences were wonderful.

but is pretty much all vendors/shops that we experienced and that's not a positive thing.

The scents of the hotel were one thing we weren’t expecting and found to be such a cool thing as well making the experience that much more elegant and memorable.

This fact in and of itself says a lot about the experience you will find here.

I do have to say I had a great experience with all of the servers/staff at that restaurant and went back for breakfast as well.

We did an excursion to XCaret during our stay and sampled 3 different desserts there and they were WAY better than what we were given at this restaurant.

This involved a boat trip to the island – with cancun and Xcaret was also amzing.

staying experience

This has a great fitness centre and food was excellent for an all-inclusive.

Lastly, eventhough this is an all inclusive resort the workers DEFINITELY be fishing for those tips.

It was my first time in Cancún and at an all inclusive.

This was our first all-inclusive and the experience was a 10 out of 10.

Cons: On top ofl the HIGH all-inclusive fee, you must shell out more $ for prime cabanas or lounge chairs with umbrellas at pool and on beach.

First time traveling internationally, as well as staying at an all inclusive resort.

A truly great experience at the best AI property we have ever stayed in.

The weather has been great, the service is top-notch, the food is the best that we have had in any all-inclusive or regular hotel.

The all inclusive is great and includes loads of cocktails and sparkling wine.

It is all inclusive and the main food option is Spices, the large buffet-style restaurant.

This time around my sister and I tried the Chef’s Plate which is a curated 6 course meal and isn’t part of the all-inclusive package.

The food is above average for an all inclusive hotels and the entertainment is the best thing.

Just the best all inclusive resort I have been in decades!!

It is the most amazing all inclusive experience you will ever have!

And the food was tasty for an all inclusive resort.

One of the best all inclusive experiences I’ve had.

I loved the breakfast and dinner at Punta Vista.

Breakfast wait staff Gardenia and Carlos Martinez in Spice were special.

The food was very good, especially the breakfast.

The culinary delights at the resort are truly remarkable, offering a diverse and delicious menu.

We got to walk around and explore the hotel every day, and we were able to try the restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Every day we had breakfast at Punta Vista with David and Ramon, who, after the first day, remembered our preferences.

The holiday vibe was fun and the Christmas dinner celebration boasted delicious and festive food stations to cater to all tastes.

The restaurants are exceptional; Spice, the buffet has a great selection of delicious choices for.

Thank you for the incredible food, unbelievably kind customer service, all the work and effort that went into to Christmas show and buffets.

We really enjoyed our stay the breakfast food was great at Spice.

The rooms were perfect, the view was amazing, food and drinks were delicious.

The food at the Zilara is beyond delicious.

The food offerings were diverse and delicious.

The buffet Spice is great & the restaurants are truly delicious.

but we would visit Spice each day of our trip for breakfast.

The food at Punta Vista was fresh and scrumptious.

Additionally, Jesus from Spice restaurant provided great service during breakfast time.

Watch out they will lure you with breakfast and coupons and hide what they are really up to.

Breakfast at Spice every morning was perfect.

I insisted that we should not be charged and reluctantly they 'waived' the additional fee for us.

Which tells me they're probably not getting paid what they deserve.

They don’t provide them anymore and charge $12 USD for a metal straw.

The spa - They were running a promotion to get an 80 minute massage at the price for a 50 minute so I took advantage of it plus they added on Hydrotherapy treatment.

As I explained to him a bunch of people were upset they couldn’t sit in or by the pool unless they paid $80 for a cabana each day (which came with 2 loungers in the pool) As Mr.Rojas explained to me this money grab was put in place by previous management

There is also entertainment every day and night, with a range of shows and classes at no extra cost.

The only downsides of our stay were the terrible sales pitch on check in, super misleading and time wasting. He promised a three minute chat to provide us our welcome package, turned into a 15 minute guilt trip to sign up for a 90 minute sales pitch saying "he wouldn't get paid if we didn't attend."

The premium wine was a tab on the expensive side,

And far too many hidden fees, especially for things which should have been included (ex: a chair by the pool or on the beach, a seat to watch the nightly entertainment , etc. ).

Once those are taken, you either have to pay for a chair or cabana, or find a place to store your stuff.

but not if I could find something close to price.

He told me if I paid him I could sit there.

Little if any consideration for the guests unless you want to pay extra as in the seating around the pool and at the beach.

This is additional cost and is not cheap.

though it's an all inclusive, there are plenty of things they want you to pay an extra charge for so just stick to the normal menus and you'll be fine!

but the only way you could get a poolside chair is if you pay money for a cabana.

Consistent high quality food and beverage choices, friendly professional staff who are eager to assist you and make the most of your stay.

The hibachi dinner is fun and books up quickly.

The food was excellent and I’d recommend trying the Chefs Plate.

We did the dinner on the beach and it was amazing.

the hotel is beautiful, restaurants amazing, pool incredible and beach breathtaking.

We always enjoyed the buffet in Spice, given our food limitations.

The romantic beach dinner was a dream come true – beautifully organized and set against the breathtaking backdrop of the property.

The service incredible, food, beach pool WOW
Thank you Zilara for 4 incredible days!!

We rented cabanas on two days, and we also had a romantic dinner by the water.

Pools and beach were lovely, and food was tasty.

Building is beautiful, food is great, staff good and beach is perfect.

The shows were great, and with one exception, so was the food.

The location is in walking distance to luxury shopping and several quality restaurants.

Restaurants ( especially the one facing the beach) are good.

While there are upgraded dinner options, spa services and cabanas available, they are not high pressure sales.

The service was incredible and everyone was so kind.
