So many dining options and the food here is the best I've had at any all inclusive and I am a bit of a food snob.

I would recommend a specially if you want to stay at an all inclusive and not leave the resort because there are many pools, beaches, and restaurants to choose from.

Everything that makes a
Great vacation is extra at this all inclusive so be prepared to drop another couple thousand dollars after the initial vacation booking to actually enjoy your stay and not be treated like a second class citizen.

if you want choice an All inclusive Hotel, Hyatt Ziva is the best choice.

I can't say enough about this amazing AI resort!

This was a very beautiful all inclusive resort.

I always lower my expectations since its to be expected for a all inclusive resort to have lower tier food than the usual 4 or 5 star restaurants here in the states

I will definitely visit again as this was my first all inclusive stay and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

By far the best all-inclusive resort we've ever experienced and the price was actually reasonable!

We been to many all inclusive resorts, we still like the Hyatt Ziva Cancun more than other resorts.

The food here is amazing - much better than at most other all-inclusive resorts.

Making this facility available to all guests would be a more inclusive and family-friendly approach.

Food was quite good for an all inclusive.

I'm generally pretty picky on all inclusive food options and this one was the best out of the 3 i've been to recently.

The reviews about the food were on point, some of the best food we have had for an all-inclusive property.

The best all-inclusive experience possible!

Everyone is so kind, the food is far better than I'd expect for an all inclusive, the pool and beach are beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff seems to have thought of everything you could need.

The food was amazing, even the buffet - which is not usually possible at an all inclusive,

The pool was warm and enjoyable for swimming and the beaches were great and not overly crowded.

but would recommend a beach cabana for the service and great views of the ocean!

Absolutely everything about this resort it’s outstanding: food, drinks, location, beach, pool, entertainment and especially the warmth of all the staff working there!

The beach was very clear and private, the sands are white!

Safe and Beautifully maintained property has some of the best views of Cancun beaches.

Kids loved the pools and beaches on this property.

So if you want a beach holiday with no beach and a pool that is freezing with no hot tub, this is the place to come.

The resort is amazing and located on a great stretch of beach property.

Room to improve… we went in Dec and water in ocean and pools was very cold…wish it was heated.

Overall, any location whether by the pool or beach, my kids had fun!

From the beaches to the quality of food and the people of Mexico, you really feel the love!

This resort was clean and located at a beautiful section of the coast.

We enjoyed the pools, the beach, the food,

I have been to Playa del Carmen many times

A special shout out to Damian, Carmen, and Marianna!

Angel and Carmen are fabulous at the Margarita bar!

Alfredo, Carmen, Lazaro and Raul all made sure we enjoyed each part of our dinners.

Special recognition of Carlos Hernandez - great energy and kept the drinks coming at the pool; Carmen Deza from Bastille who arranged a very special anniversary dinner at the Chef’s table; Captain Aaron, Chef Christian, and Julian from Habenero’s for some memorable lunches by the beach.

We also enjoyed coffee in the club area with Carmen .

Tres Cerveza was our favorite hangout bar where Carmen, Carlos (yes same Carlos) and Charlonte greeted us for happy hour.

We still have our good friends, Irma, Daniel, Carlos, Rubelsi, Raul, Oliver, Espiranza, Maggie, Beatriz, Lucio, Miguel, Carmen, Cecila, Sophia, Fernando, Monica, David, Uriel, Joel, Leticia, Wendy, just to name a few. .

Even if we didn't stop in they would still give us a giant wave and a smile. Beatriz, Viveros and Carmen in Tres Cervezas (man I miss that place!)

The staff at Sasil bar were amazing especially Beatriz and Leticia and the amazing Carmen who were so friendly.

My husband and I had done a swim with the dolphins experience on a previous trip to Playa del Carmen and we were more impressed with the facility at the Hyatt.

Raul, Ovidio, Abundio, Uriel, Carmen, out

Lucio at Sassil, Diego at various bars, Leticia at club night and Sassil, Esparanza at Bar Del Mar and Club Pool, Carmen at Club Lounge, Jessica at 24 hours, Maggie at Tres Cervesas.

We've always stayed at resorts in Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen.

butler Carmen was phenomenal and was very attentive.

Carmen in Tres Cerveches bar was the best!

butlers, Carmen and Joel, were exceptional and we’re very sad to have left them behind.

Above all the staff and all employees are very welcoming and very helpful and our personal Butlers Joel and Carmen were incredible and awesome they went beyond the call of duty to please us and gave us a personal attention and few wonderful surprises when we got back to our room.. thanks to you guys.

Casa del Café had amazing coffee, I went there almost 4 times a day🤣 Tradewinds had very good fruit.

but all the restaurants really .wonderful service and shout outs to all the people who made the stay memorable .Zacharias at check in ,Jose Mercado buffet,Mitchell Moon Gate ,Grecia and Jorge Habaneros,Javier and Leydi La Bastille,Alejandro Italian,Jeshua Chevys,Jesus Casa Del Cafe,Leonardo Tradewinds,Eric Bar Saasil (Loved the Majenta drink suggestion) Want to and will come back.

Lastly, I will like to mention our server Abel from Bar Del Mar.

but shout out to Oliver at Bar Del Mar, Ricardo and Julien and Habeneros and the Mercado, and Jesus at Moongate for being super amicable and incredibly friendly.

Anaid in casa del cafe greeted us with a smile and our coffee order by memory every morning.

You can snorkel right off the beach and even catch some sting rays!

Ricardo Del Callejo was very knowledgeable about lighting and perfectly timed my shots.

Jesus Del Angel Campos, Karla Padua, Monica Meja, VictorAguilar Gaul, Maria Torres Padua, Victor from Mercados and so many more are such amazing kind hearted people that we are blessed to have as part of our extended family at Ziva.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun and decided to have our engagement photo shoot with the photographer Ricardo del Callejo.

Daisy at the Saasil Bar
Esperanza at the Saasil Bar
Raymundo at the mercado/habanero
Marcelo at the mercado/habanero
Hugo at the mercado
Leticia at tres cervezas
Monserrat at the front desk
Anaid at the casa del cafe
Diego F&B manager

Also the dolphins are adorable!

Definitely make a reservation for a photo shoot to have superb photos with Ricardo Del Callejo (outside the coffee shop).

We want to thank Raul and the pool staff also the whole crew at the Chefs Table and all the staff at Casa Del Café especially Monica, Adrian, Alejandro and Jesus.

Raul the bartender at Dips and Sips, and Uriel at the bar del mar were awesome.

We already look forward to returning!

The resort offers jet skis by time or jet ski tours to isla mujeres or even a yacht for rental purposes!

We enjoyed a pristine beach free of seaweed, and full of fish, starfish, hermit crabs at dusk, and even a small ray.

Our favorite place to hang out in the day was at the quieter Bar Del Mar pool area to the rear of the resort where Elidio, Carlos and Santiago were exceptional servers.. thank you guys!

But despite these 2 mismanagements by Hyatt-Playa administration, EVERYTHING else was absolutely an incredible luxury experience!!!

but was actually an employee of Playa Collection (a timeshare disguised as a rewards program).

However, all the other Playa resort sales people were actually pretty nice and respected that we weren’t interested.

They have salesman from playa trying to con you into breakfast to sell you timeshares.

Prior experiences: Atelier Playa Mujeres, Viceroy Riviera Maya

What we loved:
- Fitness programming: we loved Patricia!

And their nightly entertainment is the best of all the resorts we've visited in Cancun the past two years (includes Playa Mujeres, Riviera, and the Hotel Zone).

The property and views are the best you will find from any resort in Cancun all the way down to Playa and Cozumel.

We have also stayed at Secrets Playa Maroma and Iberostar Grand Paraiso.

Carlos and Rey were awesome to have helping us on Habanero Playa.

Carlos at Playa Habanero bar and grill was very attentive to us on the beach.

We were very happy at the resort in Playa,

We have been to many all-inclusives in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, etc.

Even when we were about to go home, Luciana gladly checked us in with our airline 24 hours early and printed our boarding passes for us, which we really appreciated…and Gustavo also gave us detailed directions to go to both a shopping center and to Playa Caracol by sending us easy to read maps.

We've been to other All Inclusives in Cancun, Playa Del Carmen and Cabo.

We have been to a number of resorts in Cancun and Playa.

This is a really nice resort; the Playa company, who operates it, did an excellent job with the renovation.

So far, we've stayed here, Secrets the Vine and Finest Playa Mujeres.

For a resort this expensive, we expected a higher quality of food.

Don't recall when some many people paid attention to me and actually acted like they enjoyed do it.

The pool is not heated no hot tubs outside only in the spa and you have to pay.

We paid US$1000+ for a double bed room (2 adults and 2 small kids).

So you're paying 800 USD a night and the resort skimps out on things like this.

However, the price increase is excessive, and guests will no longer be able to afford it.

Serious renovation needed to bring it up to 2023 especially given brand new properties for similar prices in the Cancun hotel area.

We were not at the hotel for 30 seconds before we were being pushed into something that cost more money or time- an experience that persisted throughout the entire stay.

Refusing to pay for an alleged infraction we did not commit, he gave us 30 minutes to vacate the premises.

Everyone I talked to was very rude and unhelpful and this experience cost me $100.

I don't want to pay for it so i disputed the charge and am waiting for the credit before the card paymemt due.

They did not accept Apple Pay, so my new Hyatt Chase card with a $95 fee was of little use and we lost a potential 4-5 nights or about 25,000 points.

But you get get much better prices somewhere else.

There are not many flights coming back to San Francisco from Cancun and it's expensive, so I can't use it often,

The most glaring issue is the massive over abundance of paid cabanas.

It’s a little pricey because the dollar vs peso

However we were disappointed that there was no spirits in the room, at this price point and standard it was a let down, you have to upgrade rooms to get spirits.

The room keys are cards which is not very convenient, other hotels provide bracelets that work as key, in this one you have to pay if you want a bracelet.

We stay in the turquoise tower and would expect more for what we pay to stay here.

The property has taken lots of effort to ensure there are enough things for people to do and not get bored - variety of pools, kids club and activities, pretty good evening shows and quite friendly staff for all the places .

The three various shows every day has something for everyone

The price was well worth the experience from the food, to the entertainment, games, restaurants and bars.

We didn't go to the bars or entertainment areas

Instead, the shows are held outside, facing the lobby and the stairs are where the audience sits on pillows.

The show was very entertaining and buffet is very convenient.

Convenience, entertainment, professional and friendly staff were the top perks for me and my family.

It's beautiful, nice food and great experience, many options, nice staff, very clean, very quiet room and good parties, events shows.

Nightly entertainment was excellent and very fun.

The rooms were impeccable, entertainment every night was really cool and the general atmosphere just always so pleasant across the entire resort.

Rafael was so funny and entertaining - what a show.

Only thing: dolphin area is part of the resort, we don’t like this kind of entertainment, besides that, everything was amazing!

If you have kids they have a kids area and they have different shows every night that’s entertaining for everyone.

Rooms, dining meals, buffet restaurants, wedding events venue, all restaurants and the pools with entertainment staffing.

The staff was very friendly, spa is very nice.

Positives:

The Kids Club and Spa teams were standout features of our stay.

Between the hydro spa treatment and the message area, I would say this experience is well worth the splurge if you have the time.

Brigitte and Hervik - not only did they provide lovely massages at our cabana,

but had direct access to the spa and the adults only pool.

Waking up to the dolphins, all of the food options, spa treatments were so relaxing and rejuvenating, beach access was perfect, all of the pools were clean and well staffed, and the rooms are beautiful and clean.

Hervik gave the most amazing mini facial and massage on the beach in our private cabana.

For example, you no longer get free transportation to the airport or spa access for staying in turquoise.

Spa was great too - glad I finally decided to do it, and you could spend hours there if you really need some relaxing time.

At the cabana, daily massages, including cucumber slices for eyes and aloe spray, delicious grilled shrimp tacos, and all the drinks you can handle, what is not to love?

From the time you check in to the time you leave you are harassed about booking excursions, the spa, romantic dinners, etc.

We got a cabana 3 days and they came around to spray us with aloe and gave us mini facials!

When I got to our appointment though, the spa told me different.

Perfect Hotel for personal vacations, beach lovers , food lovers , water sports lovers ,for relaxation , for SPA , for Snorkeling , for swimming , for pool lovers , for hydrotherapy , a family environment with excellent customer service

When we checked in we upgraded to the Club master suite, they gave us 2 complimentary spa packages as part of the paid upgrade.

Cabana rentals are affordable and highly recommended - comes with dedicated drink service for ~9 hours, food service, two facials, and two coconuts!

Babies were welcomed everywhere and staff was incredibly baby friendly!

Very clean, multiple restaurants, and OMG the staff were super courteous.

Everyone was extremely nice, helpful, and great with my kids.

The staff members are highly praised for their remarkable professionalism and dedication to providing an excellent experience for every guest.

The staff is very attentive and we never went hungry.

I cannot thank the staff at the hotel enough for their amazing hospitality.

One day while we were playing in the pool a staff was serving alcohol & fell into the pool.

The service of the staff was beyond my expectations.

While the staff were top notch and all friendly less can be said about the rest of hotel.

The staff was polite, professional and did a world class job.

* At Mercado dinner – Gabriela Chavez - supervisor and Jorge – waiter.

The stay was excellent beautiful place plenty of things to do places to eat staff were very friendly and helpful
Rooms were cleaned every day at least two to three times a day.

This has a great fitness centre and food was excellent for an all-inclusive.

Lastly, eventhough this is an all inclusive resort the workers DEFINITELY be fishing for those tips.

It was my first time in Cancún and at an all inclusive.

This was our first all-inclusive and the experience was a 10 out of 10.

Cons: On top ofl the HIGH all-inclusive fee, you must shell out more $ for prime cabanas or lounge chairs with umbrellas at pool and on beach.

First time traveling internationally, as well as staying at an all inclusive resort.

A truly great experience at the best AI property we have ever stayed in.

The weather has been great, the service is top-notch, the food is the best that we have had in any all-inclusive or regular hotel.

The all inclusive is great and includes loads of cocktails and sparkling wine.

It is all inclusive and the main food option is Spices, the large buffet-style restaurant.

This time around my sister and I tried the Chef’s Plate which is a curated 6 course meal and isn’t part of the all-inclusive package.

The food is above average for an all inclusive hotels and the entertainment is the best thing.

Just the best all inclusive resort I have been in decades!!

It is the most amazing all inclusive experience you will ever have!

And the food was tasty for an all inclusive resort.

One of the best all inclusive experiences I’ve had.

From tequila volleyball, to the pool foam party, to the carnival beach party!

Really appreciate Janett who took excellent care of us on the beach.

There is nothing better than coming back from the beach to a clean room and returning from dinner to a chocolate on your bed.

We did the dinner on the beach and it was amazing.

the hotel is beautiful, restaurants amazing, pool incredible and beach breathtaking.

The romantic beach dinner was a dream come true – beautifully organized and set against the breathtaking backdrop of the property.

The service incredible, food, beach pool WOW
Thank you Zilara for 4 incredible days!!

All the rooms are waterfront with balcony and beautiful layout.

Great food, amazing beach, friendly and helpful staff.

The beautiful views, especially from the beach, provide a stunning backdrop for a relaxing stay.

Pools and beach were lovely, and food was tasty.

Building is beautiful, food is great, staff good and beach is perfect.

Then drink service, whether we were in our beach cabana or outside by the main bar we were well taken care of by Janett, Humberto, Luis, David, Adrien and Eloisa.

Rooms have jacuzzi which is great after a tiring day out at the beach.

Had no issues with the beach, and found good seating area with shade.

They also offered nightly entertainment and a great beach with amenities.

For any guest needs The concierges, Monica and Anna are the people who will be sure to take care of those needs.

Monica, Ingrid, Ana, and Jocelyn -- thank you for checking on us everyday.

Carmen and Aylin had magic hands and took all the flight stress away.

Carmen- she gave us a little sample of her massage skills while we were laying in our pool side cabanas and she did a wonderful job.

Special thanks to:

Hilda - Zen Spa
Carmen - Zen Spa

I would like to recognize Jair for helping me with my luggage; the massage therapist Carmen as well as Arely, Lenny, Eddie, and Erika in Zen Spa; Julio, Luis, and Carlos Palma at Asiana; Sergio and the head waiter, Carlos, at Maria Marie; the beach

but some particular standouts were: Alexander (Asiana Teppanyaki); Ricardo (Maria Marie); Veronica, Brenda, Carmen, and Jesica (Zen Spa); and Suriya, Cesar, and Juan the sommelier (Punta Vista dinner on the beach); (beachside cabana attendant); and Michell (concierge).

Shout out first to our spa treatment ladies Yanira and Carmen as well as the young man Arturo by the pool.

I have to give a shout out to Carmen and Elise in the spa who gave us a couples "Moonlight Massage" on the beach - one of the best I've received.

We previously vacationed exclusively in Playa Del Carmen,

We did a full day at Tulum, a cenote, and Playa De Carmen for $99 a person.

We have stayed at a number of all inclusive resorts in nearby Playa del Carmen,

Miguel, William, and Carmen at the Zilara spa were AWESOME!!!!

Carmen & Veronica were incredibly professional ant their massages were fabulous with their perfect touch.
