Lastly, eventhough  this is an all inclusive resort the workers DEFINITELY be fishing for those tips.

This was our first all-inclusive and the experience was a 10 out of 10.

Cons: On top ofl the HIGH all-inclusive fee, you must shell out more $ for prime cabanas or lounge chairs with umbrellas at pool and on beach.

The weather has been great, the service is top-notch, the food is the best that we have had in any all-inclusive or regular hotel.

The all inclusive is great and includes loads of cocktails and sparkling wine.

It is all inclusive and the main food option is Spices, the large buffet-style restaurant.

This time around my sister and I tried the Chef’s Plate which is a curated 6 course meal and isn’t part of the all-inclusive package.

The food is above average for an all inclusive hotels and the entertainment is the best thing.

Just the best all inclusive resort I have been in decades!!

Inside and outside, public areas and rooms are super clean.

Humberto Rodriguez was attentive to our needs every evening no matter what areas of the resort we found ourselves.

There is plenty of pool area, and I loved the entertainment.

I’d like to particularly commend Ivan, David, Isal, Sergio and Humberto in the bar & pool area, Martha in the spa and Ambassador team Ingrid, Ana, Monica, Paulina.

They were attentive to our problem areas and were excellent.

All areas around the pool and cabana area are very clean and maintained.

Location is good, it’s on the hotel strip, so  within walking distance to some of the market areas and malls - again targeted at Americans and are westernised though.

Complimentary seating by the pool area could be improved.

The beach is easily accessible and the pool area is beautiful.

TOP Highlights: the cleanliness of the entire Resort, the beachfront layout with the cabanas and long chairs, so much space,  the food quality and selection in all 5 restaurants, the spa, trendy design and relaxing, the  fitness program and yoga class, all amenities and commun areas were so upscale, the rooms design and  a very creative Entertainment program.

Their pool area was especially nice, with two large pools steps away from the ocean front.

We chose cabana that was kind of in its own little area.

We had a great time in all the areas and met people from all over the world.

Lobby, pool area, restaurants and views of the ocean are gorgeous.

- Alfredo at Punta Vista was so attentive that our drinks were never more than half-empty
- Noe took pics for us outside of the Chef's table area, talked with us, and was so genuinely so nice.

The beach is pristine and has great areas for swimming.

The location is also perfect: direct access to the beach where you can walk or run for good few miles south to Playa Delfines, or north almost to the easternmost end of Mexico.

There is also many perks on the playa properties so when we travel as a couple we always get pampered.

Playa resorts clear intent to squeeze money out of the property is evident.

We have traveled to Cancun multiple times and have been loyal Excellence Playa Mujeres fans - up until now.

Jack, of playa collections, became a real help with all of our hotel needs and made us feel like we were home.

rate here before comparing it to the other all inclusive hotel in cancun or playa.

Furthermore, the Playa staff left a positive impression with their kind and accommodating demeanor.

Only thing i highly hated was the playa collection staff bothering with their timeshare.

It may have been amazing when Playa owned it,

I insisted that we should not be charged and reluctantly they 'waived' the additional fee for us.

Which tells me they're probably not getting paid what they deserve.

They don’t provide them anymore and charge $12 USD for a metal straw.

The spa - They were running a promotion to get an 80 minute massage at the price for a 50 minute so I took advantage of it plus they added on Hydrotherapy treatment.

As I explained to him a bunch of people were upset they couldn’t sit in or by the pool unless they paid $80 for a cabana each day (which came with 2 loungers in the pool) As Mr.Rojas explained to me this money grab was put in place by previous management

There is also entertainment every day and night, with a range of shows and classes at no extra cost.

The only downsides of our stay were the terrible sales pitch on check in, super misleading and time wasting. He promised a three minute chat to provide us our welcome package, turned into a 15 minute guilt trip to sign up for a 90 minute sales pitch saying "he wouldn't get paid if we didn't attend."

The premium wine was a tab on the expensive side,

And far too many hidden fees, especially for things which should have been included (ex: a chair by the pool or on the beach, a seat to watch the nightly entertainment , etc. ).

Once those are taken, you either have to pay for a chair or cabana, or find a place to store your stuff.

but not if I could find something close to price.

He told me if I paid him I could sit there.

Little if any consideration for the guests unless you want to pay extra as in the seating around the pool and at the beach.

This is additional cost and is not cheap.

though it's an all inclusive, there are plenty of things they want you to pay an extra charge for so just stick to the normal menus and you'll be fine!

but the only way you could get a poolside chair is if you pay money for a cabana.

Consistent high quality food and beverage choices, friendly professional staff who are eager to assist you and make the most of your stay.

The hibachi dinner is fun and books up quickly.

The food was excellent and I’d recommend trying the Chefs Plate.

We did the dinner on the beach and it was amazing.

the hotel is beautiful, restaurants amazing, pool incredible and beach breathtaking.

We always enjoyed the buffet in Spice, given our food limitations.

The culinary delights at the resort are truly remarkable, offering a diverse and delicious menu.

We rented cabanas on two days, and we also had a romantic dinner by the water.

Pools and beach were lovely, and food was tasty.

Building is beautiful, food is great, staff good and beach is perfect.

The shows were great, and with one exception, so was the food.

The location is in walking distance to luxury shopping and several quality restaurants.

Restaurants ( especially the one facing the beach) are good.

The white party, the Cabernet show, karaoke and the dj’s!

We were also pleasantly surprised by the evening shows.

The evening shows are superb--I have been to many different resorts and this one had the best shows I have ever seen.

There are shows every night, plus fitness classes, a gym & lots of activities/parties.

While there are upgraded dinner options, spa services and cabanas available, they are not high pressure sales.

Note: I HIGHLY recommend Lucero is you book a massage. Incredible!!!

We also took advantage of their spa twice, which was so relaxing.

The hotel and grounds were kept impeccably clean and the amenities, eg: fitness center and classes and the spa were the icing on the cake.

We went to the spa- very unique & again staff are unbelievable.

Manuel, Jessica, Eloisa from the Spa -- thank you for the massages and service.

The spa experience was phenomenal and the beach was very well kept and pretty would definitely recommend a stay here.

Special kudos to some staffs who are really great asset to the team, Cesar Banron at Marie Marie, Nohemi at zen Spa, Abimael at the lounge space.

Gladys, Elisa, and Alejandro at the Zen spa made our time so relaxing.

The service and staff members are so amazing, especially Dianna (pilates/water aerobics instructor), Jose (who works in the gym), Jonathan (activities coordinator), Roberto (waiter at Spice), Ernesto (bartender at The Den cocktail bar), Arturo and Valdemar (waiters at Punta Vista), Francisco (Asiana hibachi chef), and Williams and Alejandro (who worked in the spa).

The adult pool - if you have alone time, you must go here!

but things that were just meh or ok. We traveled with 2 kids, 5 and 6 and 2 adults.

The food was delicious at all a la carte restaurants with the French Sans Soucis adults only (pants, collared shirt and shoes for men) restaurant being our favourite.

although, I can’t complain about Jerry in the adults only lounge.

Activities for both adults and children were more than enough and we didn't had time to go out of the resort.

Great resort with lots of entertainment for kids and adults.

Because it was closed so often my kids didn’t enjoy staying at the kids club which didn’t allow us to take advantage of the adult pool and have some time to ourselves.

We ate our breakfasts in the adult lounge where they put out a spread every morning and it was peaceful and great.

Special thanks to Roger mi hermano de mexicano on the 1st floor adult swimming pool.

Excellent  staff especially Roger in adult bar, 8th floor bar Jerry for breakfast/ Antonio in evening and Pearla lobby bar.

They put 6 adults in 3 rooms with one bed, including two men, my brothers.

Maria in the adult bar on the 8th floor is great.

I enjoyed the adult pool and the adult bar and disco.

Every day the entertainment team organise things throughout the day to keep children and adults entertained.

they have an indoor area with a movie screen and tables and chairs for activities.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful - front desk/bars/food areas.

Families will find this resort kid friendly with beach front water slides, and a second area with water playland.

We signed an early-check out form and spent DOUBLE our vacation budget on a nearby hotel in the area. 5.

Went on a few excursions that we booked by the kids area, was able to get a good deal.by booking three different excursions at the same time.

The hotel checks all of the boxes (beautiful beach, a good selection of restaurants, lovely pool area and friendly staff).

The waterslide pool area was also a hit  with us grown ups and kids.

The guys at the kids' area are also all very good, they do look after safety, entertainment and well being of the kids.

hotel in general was ok nice clean etc room was fine no issues cleaned every day fridge stocked up every day and meeting area the Collage was poor no air con ,the adult bar was good.

The service from start to finish was excellent all staff very helpful and approachable wide range of food for all tastes, and Italian restaurant excellent, unfortunately the main buffet , which we found great was moved to convention area for decorating reasons which was quite disappointing, the children’s area was not opened until the day before our holiday ended which was very disappointing as this was a main    factor in booking with crown paradise, cannot fault apart from above comments

The outdoor food area was nice they do the best burgers.

The nighttime entertainment not so good and geared more for the littler ones also you can’t drink inside the entertainment area.

The pools are clean and the play areas are up to date.

Crown Paradise is in an  excellent  location on Delfines Beach in the Hotel Zona .The ressort is a gorgeous property .

Loved our balcony that faced la Playa Delfines and the water slides.

Also, Playa delfines is 10 minutes walking and they have the Cancún letters.

Playa Delfines is amazing , some days it is strong with waves

However you can walk short distance to Delfines beach which is much wider.

The good thing is that there is a beautiful beach called playa delfines which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

Playa los Delfines is like  a five minute walk from the Hotel.

but it is adequate and there is the beautiful Playa Delfines 5 minutes walk down the coast for those who fancy it.

Down the beach about 100 yards is Playa Delfines, which is a beautiful public beach that has shaded spaces, bathrooms and showers.

I got a nice room with an amazing view, without knowing we were next to Delfines, one of the most beautiful beaches in the area.

My pickier son even ate alllll his beef tacos!

Our kids now are grown, and we keep returning to this family resort for two main reasons: the people and the views.

Lifeguards were stationed at the hotel beach and we felt very safe to let our kids play in the waves.

On a positive note, the amenities and beach are great for kids and we were able to make the most of them.

The staff put in a great deal off effort for the Christmas festivities, including Santa arriving by helicopter, which amazed the children.

He was extremely polite and patient with our whole crew of 8 including 3 little kids.

Jesus the bell boy was so wonderful, in many aspects.

We were there a week over Christmas with three familes and two grandchildren who loved the waterpark and all activities geared toward children.

Food was absolutely appalling in the buffet if you have kids, as mine lived off chicken nuggets from the snack bar for 2weeks.

but our kids loved it and it is exactly what we wanted, something budjet friendly that is kid friendly, there is lots to do at the kids water park , also a baby paradise for kids under 3 years old that had a bouncy castle and toys.

It was a shame really because I had high expectations of this holiday - our first with my son-in-law and new grandson

The girls were on time always , made us feel very comfortable.

Second favorite was Los Gallos- the Mexican restaurant.

Shout out to Jorge in the Mexican restaurant.

For example, one morning I asked Mary at the Mexican breakfast station for 2 fried eggs to top the delicious salbutes she made.

The closest we saw (and we did every specialty restaurant) was pico de gillo at breakfast for omlettes and a tablespoon of def not fresh guac at the Mexican restaurant with the fajitas.

but it is a low class hotel which is mostly occupied by local mexican residents mostly.

The buffet is catered for people who enjoy eating mexican food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The surprise for me being in Mexico and not able to get good Mexican food was a bummer.
