Great location very close to the Magic Fountain and about 20 minute walk from
 La Rambla.

It is also less than a 5 minute walk from a metro station, and just a little further the Magic Fountain is Montjuïc, which we visited multiple times during our stay for such a special experience.

The Magical Fountain was also at our doorstep and made a very nice post dinner entertainment option.

Close to magic fountain and everything is closer highly recommended guys

It also close to the national museum of of art, which also has the Magic fountain shows each night from 2130.

Placa D’Espanya and the magic fountain are a stones throw away.

Also next to the Montjuic Park where Olympic stadium is and Magic Fountain.

but we didn't mind the walk seeing all the sites, the magical fountain just across the road is a must

We were lucky enough to be there when the Magic Water Fountain show was on Fantastic! !

We met by the rooftop pool and were given a free drink whilst the brilliant guide, Ariadna Miro, told us about the nearby Metro and shopping centre and gave us a very enlightening potted history of Barcelona before we set off into the Montjuic area for a walk up to the National Art Musem of Catalunya in time for the spectacular fountain display which culminated at the Fountain of Montjuic to the Barcelona theme sung by Freddie Mercury and Monserrat Caballe.

We found lots of available public transport even on Christmas Day. Quick walk to the Magic Fountain and lovely central sqare with its fountain lit up at night.Our rooms were  well appointed, lovely bathroom, individual lighting, very comfortable mattress, variety of pillows, toiletries, mini fridge( which we asked to be emptied to store our own goodies bought in the local supermarket.)

I would thoroughly recommend the B Hotel to anyone vising Barcelona and in addition it is in a great location being near the shopping centre and the Magic Fountain

We enjoyed the 15-20min to Las Ramblas, and the Magic Fountain is a short walk away too.

Location is great- so much around to see and do inc the magic fountain, Olympic Park and easy metro ride to the beach and gothic quarter. We requested a city view and were able to access our room from 3pm ( we could’ve had a courtyard facing one earlier

It's centrally located to everything even walking distance to Magic Fountain about 10 minutes.

Hotel is also close to the Montjunc attractions such as the MNAC, the Magic Fountain, Poble Espanyol, and the funicular up Montjunc.

Location is perfect right next to a metro stop, Olympic stadium and the magic fountain.

It is also 15 min brisk walk to the Magic Fountain and the Palace.

Air conditioning was great and the rooftop was incredible with a beautiful view to Plaza d' España.

We always stay at B-Hotel because the staff is really friendly, the rooms are very clean, breakfast is super and it is well located next to the Plaza Espanya with lots of restaurants, bars and the Arenea Shopping Center.

The hotel is at the Plaza Espanja and there is metro station almost next to the hotel.

Located in the center near Plaza Espanya, metro really close.

Good location, just a few metro stops from Las Rambla and close to the Plaza D’Spain metro station.

Prime location at Plaza Espanya, clean rooms, very reasonably priced & excellent value   With quality better than most 3 star hotels ^ would be perfect were it not for the impossible to work out light controls & shower as mentioned by several previously.

The hotel is situated 300m from Plaza Espanya.

We stayed here as part of our 20th anniversary trip and had mentioned this when we booked, to try and get a nice view of the plaza from our room.

Rooftop-Bar with pool was very nice with look over Plaza Espania.

Wonderful hotel - with fantastic facilities, super helpful staff and all in a central transport hub - getting to all the sights is really easy from Plaza Espana..

The Aerobus from the airport drops you off on the other side of the Plaza so you get off, look around you in awe and there it is - with a huge B on the roof by the pool, shining like a beacon.

but you can still order a drink to the top and have a drink looking over one of the main plazas.

The property is located centrally near Plaza Espana station and near nice restaurants etc.

The hotel was located right on plaza españa so it was very easy to move around the city from there.

The hotel also has a great rooftop pool and is located next to the Plaza d'Espagna so really easy to acces by metro or by Aerobus from the airport.

Big thanks for our upgrade to executive level;room was fantastic and the pool overlooking the plaza is a must.

The hotel is located by Arenas and Plaza España.

The only downside is that it’s on a very busy road so quite noisy at night time.

Our room was on the 7th floor and overlooked the roundabout, which was quite noisy

The location is noisy, traffic and dustman in the early hours.

but the surrounds aren't, so the noise still comes in.

As it turned out, this worked to our advantage because the garden view room was extremely quiet at night whereas the city view room would likely have been somewhat noisy.

Only downside - no English speaking tv channels and i do like to have some for background noise.

Busy area - light sleepers may need earplugs to block out the early morning street cleaning noise -

On the street side of the hotel, there can be some noise from traffic, while the back side is very quiet.

A lot of road works going on all over Barcelona when we travelled and although we where on the 6th floor it was very noisy from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm even on the Sunday so sleep was poor

No bar or hall area, a bit noisy for rooms above the street.

One minor problem is that when metro passes through, you can feel the vibration

Traffic noise isn’t as bad as people make out.

but the second room, though on the 6th floor, was just as noisy.

If you want a quiet room, choose one that does not look out over the Gran Via.

The only let down was the noise from outside - I get the location

Sometimes we could hear the noise of the underground passing under the hotel.

There is a LOT of noise from the metro and the road, as well as from the hall and elevator.

The only down side was my room was near the road so I could hear the traffic at night,

Rooftop pool and bar was amazing - great place to chill after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was good, only small criticism would be to cover the all the pastries, and the coffee from the machine wasn't great (but I got round that by using the Nescafe sachets with hot water!)

Rooftop pool is a must, shame it shuts at 9pm because you could finish your night sipping Cocktails.

Rooftop pool is pretty cool hearing the buzz of the traffic and people below on Placa d'Espanya.

Didn't use the rooftop & pool as it was January,but had a look & would be great in the hotter months

Good location and the roof top pool makes this a great spot in summer.

Rooftop pool was delightful the views were amazing.

Lovely spacious room, balcony and comfy bed.

Room was a decent size and cleaned everyday, there was a mini bar in the room with soft drinks and alcohol etc.

Wonderful touch was a bottle of Cava in the room on the day of our anniversary, thank you so much for that.

Upon arrival our room was spotless and the hotel was generally clean.

You will get easy access to Sants Station, Montjuïc, Joan Miro Park and the Arenas of Barcelona.

Kettle in room - suggest  bring own Tea bags and get milk from the supermercado in the Arena shopping centre 2 mins walk.

The location is also brilliant if you want to watch the magical dancing fountains too!

Arenas de Barcelona,the shopping mall with loads of Restaurants on the roof is beside the hotel.

The hotel’s location is amazing- next to the Arenas de Barcelona, which spoils you for choice when looking for somewhere to eat.

Next door to  Arenas de Barcelona which is a large indoor shopping mall (formerly a bull fighting arena) with shopping and lots of fast food choices and a supermarket.

Across the street is mall called Arena, and on top of that mall has lots of restaurants that gives a nice 360 view of the area.

Great location, right next to The Arenas on Placa Espanya.

The arena across the road means you’re not stuck for places to eat or go shopping.

It is very close to the metro, fancy resturants, the arena mall and the beautiful national museum of  catalonia.

The hotel is very well located, on various bus routes, metro lines and next door to the Las Arenas shopping centre.

Hotel is next to Arena SC and Metro plus many taxis passing buy.

They left me out of the loop of what was going to be the surprise so even I could act surprised!

Staff were very friendly and helpful and hotel was always kept clean and tidy.

Ask for Sandra and Tejazvi as they are probably the best of the staff this hotel has (we interacted with others that were not helpful).

We enjoyed a few drinks on the terrace each night - the bar staff were all very friendly.

Lastly all the staff we encountered on our trip were lovely and always ready to help 10/10 trip.

The receptionists who met us upon our arrival were super efficient and even gave great tips about Barcelona.

Reception are super helpful and friendly.

I just stayed one night at B hotel, I have to say the staff was very friendly, they allowed us early check in, and had a good attitude in general.

I was instructed to contact the hotel again for compensation because "the lady with authority" was allegedly absent during check-out.

Great service with staff who were only too happy to help.

Thank you to the hotel staff for making our stay an enjoyable one.

The staff even surprised us by leaving a tray of cheesecake and berries and a bottle of champagne on ice in our room on the afternoon of my husband's birthday - we had never told them we were celebrating it and can only assume they noticed the date on his passport when we checked in.

Marianne at the front desk was very friendly and sweet, she helped me with several things.

Hotel is very nice, breakfast is wonderful staff very friendly.

It is a 5 minute walk from the Magic fountain

The staff are lovely and it is very near to The National Art Gallery and The Magic Fountain display which is so amazing.

Near the Magic Fountain, a restaurant and shopping complex and over looks the Placa D'Espanya, which makes for beautiful views and a good range of places to go right by the hotel.

There is also Las Arenas mall right next door and Montjuic and the Magic Fountain are just a quick walk away.

The hotel is in a fantastic location next to the Bullring shopping centre and the magic fountain.

It was not until the following morning when we asked if the hotel had any tourist information that we where offered a small map only then did we realise that we practically opposite the Barcelona museum of art and the Magic fountain of Montjuic it is also only a few minuits in a taxi to La Rambla, Passeig de Gracia or the Sagrada Familia plus many more beautiful sights.

Hotel situated on plaza  espanya so plenty of shops and restaurants on your doorstep, as well as the magic fountain show.

So easy it to get to and from airport 20 minute bus ride and the 1st stop and then a 4 minute walk to the hotel.

Although we didn’t pick this hotel for its location it worked perfectly with a 20-35 minute walk to the centre and our dinner reservations, we also went out clubbing one night and found it really easy to get a taxi too and from the hotel.

We walked into the centre and wandered round the sites easily enough.

About 20 mins walk to the top of La Rambla which was totally fine

if you like walking to places this one makes it suitable as well, let you be spoiled by the views on the deck and the great and friendly staff.

There is a hop on hop off bus stop about a 5 minute walk away.

The bus stop is only a short walk to the hotel.

Location of hotel was perfect as we chose to walk to all the sights.

They would ask us each time we walked by reception how things were going and just could not have possibly been nicer.

Metro was an easy 2 minute walk away and the hotel is surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops and a shopping centre.

It takes about 18/20 walking to Plaça Catalunya, Rambles, Paseig de Gràcia etc…

The location is perfect with a metro station a 2 minute walk away which can take you everywhere you need to go, and is super easy to use!

Our room was OK, the safe was shocking a hole in the wall and advice on leaving valuables in reception is not what you want to hear the moment you arrive, and the curtain across a rail as a make shift wardrobe needs to be improved.

but modern, with a few weird quirks to figure out for lights and shower (the shower is transparent but there is switch by the sink to close the blinds and maintain your dignity)!

The room was great and it didn't take too long to figure out the remote lights and blinds.

but either at the bed or at then entrance to the room and to close the blinds between the batch and living are you need to find buttons above the sink
BREAKFAST - good selection of fruits, cereals, breads, pastries and a few hot items.

but cosy with a HUGE comfy bed - the bathroom did have a window with a blind that we couldn't figure out but it faced out to the side of the room so wasnt a big deal.

We eventually figured out that the controls to shut the blinds for it are by the bathroom mirror.

No matter what country you are in, you are generally able to work out how to operate light switches, faucets, blinds, etc.

but due to the street right in front it is a bit noisy even with closed windows.

There was a venetian blind in the window, But how to close it?

The window between the sleeping room and the bathroom was a little weird.

The only minus is no view from the window as all of them covered by big facade jalousie(

There’s a few things missing for top ranking in my opinion;
- Rooms facing the street are very loud even with windows closed.

which closed blinds, turned on/off lights, got the shower on/off.

but have electronic blinds you can adjust for privacy.

Took a while to work out the electric blinds in the shower and the inner toilet door didnt close properly,

and the glass wall between the bath/bed might be slightly disconcerting if you were sharing (but it does have a blind!)

The bathroom wall is made of glass, and you can open the blinds for extra light or close them for privacy.

One strange touch in the room was the motorized Venetian blinds between the shower and the rest of the room.

The other thing is the front desk recommended the light show at Magic Fountain of Montjuïc

The hotel is in a fabulous location for restaurants and attractions.

Service is 5 stars, hotel is 4.5 stars, rooftop bar 5 stars, location 6 stars.

It is well located across from the harbour, it is clean, has lovely and large rooms, had a king size comfortable bed with good pillows and nice linens, and we fully recommend it.

The hotel is in a lovely position near to Port Vell and there are many good restaurants nearby.

The location is fine with a terrific roof top bar overlooking the harbor.

Everything from the wonderful location, cleanliness and above average customer service!

The hotel is in a well maintained old heritage building, in a perfect location between the gothic quarter and the water front/beaches.

The location of this hotel is great - walking distance to beach, on the edge of the Gothic district, close to Picasso museum, Barcelona cathedral, walking distance to La Sagrada (longer walk),  close to Metro trains and tons of shopping,  bars and restaurants.

Fantastic location easy walking distance to beach and city locations.

The location of the hotel was really convenviant.

Its located in Barri Gotic and close to our favourite district El Born.

Not only is this hotel in a wonderful location, it was exceptionally clean and very well run.

This place feels quite new from the lobby to the room.

Family room was very spacious- 2 proper beds for the children.

Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the people who cleaned the rooms were extremely polite and accommodating.
