Directly next to a Metro station and within a 15 minute stroll of many of Barcelona's main attractions this hotel was a very good choice .

Next to the metro station and near lots and lots of great restaurants.

It's in a great area of Barcelona right outside a Metro station and within a 10 minute walk of lots of fantastic restaurants.

Especially good thing for business person is distance to the metro station.

The hotel is modern, clean, quiet, comfortable and just a few steps from a metro station that gives access to all the main tourist sites within 5 to about 30 minutes.

Selected this hotel because it is right beside Urgell Metro station and near to Aerobus stop for convenience.

This is a modern, designer hotel which is on a major avenue called the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and very close to the Urgell metro station.

The location is also great, as the metro station is just outside the hotel.

Metro station just a few steps away and on good walking distance to the best shopping areas of the city.

The metro station Urgell L1 is at 20 meters distance from the entrance, which makes it extremely easy to visit the city.

The hotel is central and near metro station L1 Urgell so convenience is a plus.

One main advantage, the Urgell metro station (L1) is directly in front of the hotel, a bus stop is just round corner.

Right next to the metro station along with several bars and restaurants.

The location of the hotel was great, it was right by the metro station, plenty of restaurants and not far from the clothing stores.

There is also the Urgel Metro station, almost right next to the hotel.

The hotel is located near the Metro station giving the visitor easy access to the entire city.

The Urgell Metro station is directly opposite the hotel.

- Additionally close to the Metro station and 10-15 minutes walk to the historic city center.

Excellent location just outside Urgell Metro station on Gran via de les courts and walking distance from Placa de Catalunya and La Rambla.

Location was about a 30 min walk from most things such as the Cathedral and Barceloneta beach

My wife and I enjoy walking new cities, and easily found our way to the centre, cathedral, museums, quaint back streets , the harbour and beach. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and entertained us with our attempts at Spanish.

It is incredibly close to the Sants train station and walking distance to Citat Vella
And the Barcelona Cathedral.

The Gaudi Cathedral is within walking distance.

Barcelona itself was really interesting and Gaudis Cathedral was breathtaking.

Although there seems to be an eternal que for the cathedral "Sagrada Familia", a visit to this amazing work of Gaudi is strongly recomended.

It is half-way between Sagrada Familia and Cathedral of Barcelona.

Very clean rooms, and there was minimal noise coming from the street outside.

Loved staying at this secure, spotless, central location in Barcelona.

A quirky Hotel - I like quirky 👍 The location to explore Barcelona is excellent 👍 The staff are super friendly and helpful 👍 The breakfast buffet is more than adequate 👍 The rooms are modern and clean 👍 The beds are conducive to a good night's sleep 👍 Have you noticed all the 👍👍👍 => 😊

Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a terrace with a view of the city.

The sheets, pillow, and bed were very comfortable and smelled very clean.

Clean, air conditioned, friendly, helpful, professional staff.

The room was very clean, a comfortable bed and good bathroom.

This Hotel was absolutely fantastic, the room we were upgrade too was very very clean and modern, with a great bathroom, safe and TV.

Staff were so friendly and rooms were clean and gorgeous.

Clean, spacious, modern and really comfortable.

Rooms are very clean and spacious and the rooftop pool was great to relax after a day of walking around.

Clean and functional rooms with everything we needed.

Clean rooms, great staff - very helpful and friendly.

We cannot fault the hotel at all, the room was spacious and clean and the rooftop / pool was lovely.

The room was generally dark even the corridor despite having on all the lights On room.

But then you go to use the bathroom and toilet - it's very dark and suddenly the funky lighting doesn't work in your favour.

and the light of room was so dark and opened window was so narrow.

The hotel theme is modern, albeit a bit dark in places.

but light still comes through and around these so if (like me) you like a completely dark room you will notice this.

buttons, hot/warm lighting, and combinations (if you arrive tired and it’s too frustrating, remove the key card and it goes dark).

but lighting made the halls and room quite dark.

Decor was dark and corridors were unsettling as they are so dark.

Interior deco is a little dark, like a night club.

although I did find the lighting a little dark in the room.

My only complaints are the shower has a small glass partition that gets water all over the floor and the room can be a bit dark.

We booked a standard double room and it was a bit dark as the hotel is a high-rise building and there is not much natural light

The only let down was how dark the rooms were and sometimes the room smelt unpleasant.

Decor is minimalist and contemporary in neutral, dark colors.

The hotel is located directly on "Grand via" with high noise level from the street.

Me and my son stayed for two nights… perfect location in the middle of everything….

The position is in the centre near bars and restaurants.

Nonetheless with the darkness, Location on the hotel was fantastic and good restaurants around with supermarket within reaches.

My boyfriend and I only had 3 days in Barcelona so we knew we needed a location close to the main attractions.

Professional, helpful, kind and extremely business minded - Pablo called his sister hotel and found us accommodation for the night, including parking when we were without a location to stay before our cruise.

The only thing we enjoyed was the location

Nice ultra-modern hotel with responsive front desk and in a convenient amd location.

but the hospitality of Frederico, and the comfort of our room and location brought us back to the hotel.

We loved the location of this hotel, which was within walking distance of most places you want to visit in Barcelona

Centrally located, with helpful and attentive staff (especially Robert) the bed was comfortable, the room spacious and the air condition unit worked really well.

Very centrally located and close to both bus and metro options.

The location of the hotel was fantastic too.

Excellent Staff, hotel and location Lovely welcome from the guys in reception
Very good selection at the breakfast; rooftop lounge also very nice to spend some time
Only a short walk to main attractions and we felt safe in the neighbourhood.

We had a terrace room (the one with the SOHO sign) and loved the spaciousness and modern design.

Great, modern contemporary designed hotel with lots of little touches that add to customer delight.

Room is spacious and modern and cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding.

Upon arriving in our room, we felt the design and interior very modern and stylish.

The room was very comfortable and enjoyable with the modern indsutrial minimalist design.

(Also goog brekfast; cleaned, spacious and modern rooms; great position; nice rooftop - we loved every single thing of this place).

The accommodation is modern and clean and the continental breakfast was very tasty.

The hotel itself was modern, clean and had a great breakfast and pool area.

The hotel is modernized and fully equipped with whatever a traveler needs.

The rooms are very spacious, clean and modern.

The room was spacious, clean, and well kept with a homey modern feeling.

The rooms were beautiful with a modern style.

My room was spacious, modern and clean with plenty of amenities.

Searching for a comfortable modern hotel which is perfectly located for sightseeing whilst not being too expensive for a family of 7 comprising 3 generations is not always easy

At least for the room where I stayed, you could see that it was already a little bit "run-down", so some renovation might be recommended.

We had our room upgraded as we had arrived early 😍 Nice Selection for breakfast, great shower…
Can’t wait to go back in the summer 🤩

The room was extremely spacious unlike most city-break-style hotels.

The room they provided is stunning and we will be returning…a professional and extremely high standard hotel chain.

First of all staff at the desk are good especially Frederick,
The room is my main concern specially the cleaning and quality of lighting.

* Most concerning of all, the room I was given had no way to lock the door.

The room was clean and very roomy albeit we booked the one with the terrace to give us more room for our bikes.

We even got an upgrade and the room was fantastic.

All the reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable , they really made the stay enjoyable….

When we arrived we were greeted by an extremely helpful member of staff whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch.

Can’t thank him enough for being so accommodating and kind!

We had good time, the staff was friendly and very informative and ready to help with any request.

Staff was friendly throughout and the check in process was smooth and efficient.

**Amazing service & care from Adrià at the front desk.

Friendly is an understatement and he cares 100% about the experience of his guests.

but cannot speak highly enough of Pablo and his team.

Front desk was probably the best I've ever experienced.

We’d seen how many of the hotels had thefts from their receptions so this was really important to us.

On one hand, the reception staff did not seem genuinely concerned about customer needs, even when suitable rooms were available.

Staff were great, both at the front desk (Roberto was exceptionally helpful) and in the breakfast area.

Then only a 15 mins walk from the top of Las Ramblas.

We felt safe and were walking around town at 1 am.

As it turned out, it’s fun to walk around in Barcelona.

10 minute walk to the nearest tourist bus stop, beside the metro and just over the road to the Gothic Quarter.

A supermarket directly next door, and numerous small bars offering food within a couple of minutes walk.

The very second we walked into the hotel the welcome and service received, especially Federico was exceptional.

Location was fantastic walking distance to most of the tourist attractions, metro station literally as you walk out of the hotel which takes you all around the city and a bus stop 2 min walk away.

Only 25 minutes on the bus from Barcelona airport, which drops you a few minutes walk from the hotel.

The location is good and if you don't mind a 30 minute walk, most of the main attractions in Barcelona are an easy walking distance.

The location was a perfect home base for our days of walking and exploring Barcelona.

The main tourist roads were 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

Breakfast was excellent and everrything that you need,
Everything is a 10 to 15 min walk way.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel the location was great 5-10 minute walk to most places, and a metro nearby, also close to lots of restaurants

Location is good about 10-12 minutes walk to La Rambla.

The beaches are a good walk away; should be considered if that is your primary leisure activity.

Walking into the hotel I was greeted by Alessio and Roberto.

I personally tried temporarily closing the window tightly, and I felt a significant reduction in the noise.

The sound insulation of the windows facing to the street was not good enough.

However, the front desk assigned me a room with an internal window.

Thankfully you can close the blinds on the window (if you find the

The blind in our room broke and we didn't have time to tell them in the morning, when we came back in the evening, it was fixed.

The curtains also do not close all the way so sleeping in is difficult with the light.

but opening the window during winter was effective enough unless there are noise in the public on New Year’s Eve.

Heavy traffic makes the room a bit noisy with thin windows.

The door in the balcony did not seal well and street noise was quite loud at times.

but it had a pane of glass that extended across about 1/3 of the tub length.)

but has powered blinds that can be closed with the touch of a button.

The only thing to complain about is that you can not turn off the lights themselves in the window which are switched on and off automatically.

(-)
- a bit niosy due to thin walls (door slamming from the neighbor rooms)
- limited view due to the post modern painted windows (schalosia style)

Your privacy is furthermore respected and noise from the streets is filtered by soundproof windows.

but bathroom should have had a shower curtain as water leaks to floor.

button near the sink that will close the blinds but there is no signage telling you and its in an odd spot.

The very cool miniblinds in the windows don't work--permanently.

Only things that would make this hotel the best would be to put blinds or a curtain on the shower glass wall, as in the bedroom you can see straight into the shower, as there is no privacy which wasn’t the best.

Also noted in other reviews, it was a bit irritating not being able to amend the blinds between the window panes.

The location of this hotel is great - walking distance to beach, on the edge of the Gothic district, close to Picasso museum, Barcelona cathedral, walking distance to La Sagrada (longer walk), close to Metro trains and tons of shopping, bars and restaurants.

Aguelo013 is blocks back towards
             the cathedral.

but perfect for walking to the center for the market, cathedral and shoppping.

Stylish hotel located within a walking distance from many major landmarks ( cathedral is only a short stroll away, Rambla is literally at the doorsteps and Casa Batllo is 25 minutes of enjoyable walk away ).

Very well situated between port area and old town, five minutes walk to the cathedral.

Easy access to the beach, Cathedral & airport.

(P.S have a wander round Barcelona Cathedral at night, we stumbled upon a fab free opera show and a gymnast performing with a hoop)

Only 5 mins from La Rambla and short walk to the cathedral too.

The location is great—easily walkable to La Rambla, the Cathedral, cute shops in the Gothic Quarter, museums, the harbour, all kinds of things.

We did all the usual sights, Camp Nou, Park Guell, Sagrada Familia, Montjuic, Barcelona Cathedral,Parc de la Cuitadella and even the Zoo!

Thr rooftop bar/restaurant has good views of the port and the Gothic Quarter/El Born/Barcelona Cathedral are just behind the hotel.

Very nice boutique hotel in the port area, close to the marina, right by the old town (leisurely 20 minute walk to the Cathedral through the old town), very conveniently located.

The hotel is very well situated for exploring the Gothic area, churches, Les Ramblas, the cathedral and the metro is close by.

The hotel is in a good location in a very nice area, The Gothic/Cathedral area, overlooking the marinas.

but if what your looking for isn’t close the metro is only 5-10 mins walk and suggest this if you want to see the Sagrada Familia cathedral)..!!

It was our 2nd stay in this hotel, nice location close to the old port, beach area, La Rambla, Barcelona Cathedral & Square, very clean, stuff was very nice, breakfast was OK, very nice upper terrace !

This hotel is located directly in the old Gothic Quarter of Barcelona enabling one to explore many of the main sights (Cathedral, Las Ramblas, Placa to Catalunya, Picasso Museum etc.)

however book entry tickets for the Cathedral before leaving home as even in November there was a wait of approx.

Make a right here or there and you certainly will come upon a Cathedral or Museum (Picasso).

Only a short walk to cathedral which is great on Sundays for the catalan dancing in the square out front and opera singers in the streets nearby.

The hotel is in a fabulous location for restaurants and attractions.

Service is 5 stars, hotel is 4.5 stars, rooftop bar 5 stars, location 6 stars.

It is well located across from the harbour, it is clean, has lovely and large rooms, had a king size comfortable bed with good pillows and nice linens, and we fully recommend it.

The hotel is in a lovely position near to Port Vell and there are many good restaurants nearby.

The location is fine with a terrific roof top bar overlooking the harbor.

Everything from the wonderful location, cleanliness and above average customer service!

The hotel is in a well maintained old heritage building, in a perfect location between the gothic quarter and the water front/beaches.

Fantastic location easy walking distance to beach and city locations.

The location of the hotel was really convenviant.

We had a great time at the hotel, clean and modern, well located, friendly and amazing service.

Its located in Barri Gotic and close to our favourite district El Born.

Not only is this hotel in a wonderful location, it was exceptionally clean and very well run.

All that plus an excellent location, good rooms that can also accommodate a family, etc.

Great location on the port view side of the Gothic.

Reasonable prices for the quality
Very helpful and pleasant staff
Very comfortable and nice rooms
Convenient location
The children and grown ups three generations all very happy.

The room was clean, bigger than expected, there was champagne waiting for us.

Excellent hotel, very friendly and welcoming, good for the city, Beach or for relaxing on the rooftop, rooms are excellent, lovely breakfast, staff very friendly and attentive, nothing is a problem.

The rooms are comfortable and well appointed.

The Premium room was spacious and was ideal for us .

Our room was extremely comfortable and the breakfasts were very good.

Welcoming, friendly staff, spotlessly clean room, lovely rooftop terrace restaurant/bar with gorgeous views.

They informed us it had arrived and placed it in our room!

The room was magnificent- and perfect for the last part of our vacation.

The rooms are beautiful and I can highly recommend this.

The rooms are good, we stayed in the new part of the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful, in a lovely old building and with a very comfortable room and great service.

Large, clean room with a balcony overlooking the marina.

This place feels quite new from the lobby to the room.

Family room was very spacious- 2 proper beds for the children.

Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the people who cleaned the rooms were extremely polite and accommodating.

However the pools are hilariously small and any room located near the service elevator is probably pretty noisy in the morning.

But our room was small, with no view, the window overlooked an alley and had a curtain pulled shut for privacy, which made the whole room dark.

Only disappointment, was the room was a little small for the price paid - not like those pictures.
