Food is great, as you would not imagine for an All Inclusive.

We ended up being all inclusive in the end as it was cheaper to do that that pay for one meal.

We got the gold all inclusive which basically included everything like 4 items of laundry per day (including pressing) and a 60 minute couple massage (incredible).

We are traveling next year to Sol by Melia Benoa Bali - All Inclusive and want to confirm our booking made through Agoda with the resort.

We didn’t do all inclusive just breakfast as we like to eat at local warungs which were an easy walk from hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, I got the gold all inclusive package and I found it to be really good.

The all inclusive was great, as we didn't need to think about money or paying anything during our stay.

Last year I was able to change the dates of our 3 night all inclusive pre paid stay with no problems at all.

The smell of Frangipani flowers were everywhere in the hotel,I will always keep this precious memory.Great value for the money, if you choose All inclusive.

No bar service on the beach or the pool, the swim up bar was popular, if you bought a package for all inclusive drinks and food, we didn’t as the food was really bad and the drinks included local Balinese liquors and wine.

We are on a bed and breakfast basis and we were going to upgrade to all inclusive and I’m so glad we didn’t, the food standard to the other two hotels we have stayed in Bali is no where near the quality, with it being an all inclusive resort be prepared to eat your breakfast from a tea plate.

We did not choose all inclusive because there are restaurants in the hotel and also in the neighborhood.

The beach is awesome and the water is very clear.

The beach is nice and pleasant with enough beds for everyone.

The grounds here are well kept and compact and the beach has plenty of sun loungers of various types and enough for all the guests.

Just returned from 3weeks at Sol Beach can’t say enough about it.

Also, whilst there are plenty of umbrellas on the beach there are none around the pool where the only shade is provided by trees.

I had the silver package the room was just perfect very clean and had everything that you needed.

We did the gold package so eat of all menus mini bar topped up every day and got are washing done every day all in the deal.

As part of the package we had premium drinks (which included sparkling wine) and 4 pieces of laundry each per day - a luxury that we took full advantage of, plus a complementary massage.

We had taken the all-inclusive package which I would highly recommend, it just all added to the most relaxing and stressless holiday we've had for a long time ;) 
The Spa was wonderful and the treatments we had were great.

We didn't book the all inclusive package (silver / gold) because we love to explore local restaurants near by, plenty of choices range from fancy AUD$100 posh meal to local food truck $2. 5.

We stayed in the Xtra Beach House Junior Suite in a ground floor room with the Silver All Inclusive Package.

The hotel is right by the beach and they offer various watersport packages.

I’m glad I did not choose the all-inclusive package though.

The food was the highlight for me, being able to order from the a la carte menu within the all inclusive package was great and the a la carte menu was lovely.

From welcome cocktails and traditional dancers on arrival, to massages by the beach, romantic meals on the beach too - it's just wonderful.The rooms were so spacious and clean, and we upgraded to gold package and had sparkling rose waiting with each meal.

Check in wasn’t smooth, just wanted to sell us all inclusive package, at 1,080,000rp per person per night silver.

An All Inclusive package makes this a dream holiday mainly for couples or adult groups.

We stayed here for 10 nights with gold package and just couldn’t be happier.

We upgraded to a GOLD BAND Package ( all inclusive) .

Looks like the inside/pool view is only for the all inclusive package.

The staff were terrific (still are), and the rooms and pool were all maintained.

Really saddens me that I can only give 3/5 at best the staff are all lovely can’t do enough for you and the gardens are amazing however the pool area is really dirty needs a really good clean with the pool seats being really rough and scratchy to sit on, the rooms are a good size

Make sure you bring mozzi spray as you will get bitten around pool area and in your room.

We could not fault the gardens and the pool was lovely and deep with swim up bar.

hotel sol by melia benoa is really nice, I happened to stay at the Arjuna Suite, if for a family it is really suitable for the place right in front of the swimming pool and facing the sea, the sunrise is really good, the people are friendly

Despite that this is not a -kids focus’ hotel the little pool is great and plenty of space in the bigger one.

The swimming pool is adequate with a swim-up bar and service.

Pool was great with pool staff very helpful.

Very warm water in the swimming pool as well as in the sea, it wasn’t refreshing at all, like an urine.

If you can live with the pool area definitely would recommend

Pool bar was great food in all restaurants were very good.

Pool was warm, as was the sea off the private sandy beach, right on the grounds.

The pool is the focal point in the grounds and the bar is great again with amazing staff and plenty of choice from coffee to cocktails.

Me and my partner prefer to leave the hotel using it as a ‘base’ and travel outside the hotel area to visit other bars and restaurants.

The food here is beautiful mind you and the staff are very hard working and very helpful,

The rental bikes and the massages were great.So much different variety of the food, both international and Asian cuisine.

The food was still fantastic as were the staff, even the entertainment was still going.

The beach was disappointing and not the crystal clear waters you would expect - it’s full of fishing boats and jet-skis meaning you end up inhaling more petrol fumes than sea air.

Rooms are damp and dirty,,towels very worn and grey not like white fluffy towels you would expect in a 5 star Hotel.

The room was dirty and smelled damp—splatted mosquitos on the mirrors and dusty desktops and sideboards.

Loads of mosquitos and no where were they trying to manage this with smoke machines.

but could do with grab rails as you could slip if not to good on your feet, toilet had an unpleasant smell all holiday.

The worst thing was stinky boats and scooters on the beach, so that you have to smell petroleum all the day on the beach

There is also a huge crack in our door and a sewage smell permits the room through the night, it’s that strong it’s woken me up 3 nights in a row.

The toilet had a horrible smell coming - plumbing issues.

The flies constantly flying around and sitting on the buffet food are disgusting as well as the ants that are on the dessert at the lunch buffet should seriously be looked into and something done about this.

but the hot sand does burn, so be careful!

The cushions were decidedly filthy and again many were fraying or splitting at the seams.

Just been reading a nasty review and i dont think that person stayed at the same place.

The noise from jetskis and speedboats is constant, and the smell of marine fuel and exhaust is sickening.

Beach not as nice as I thought it would be, as a private beach still had a few men trying to sell things, lots of jet skis going up and down so there was a smell of diesel.

Smells bad and the service at the beach is bad.

To begin with we had to ask to change our room as it stank of raw sewage which was extremely unpleasant.

but rooms below par 1st room had a very strong smelt of damp and mould the following morning we asked to reception if they could do something about it they kindly moved us to another room,this room also had a damp smell but no where near as bad we assumed it was the air conditioning so accepted the room swap.

but when the AC shuts off the smell gets stronger I was offered another room a couple doors down but same smelly issue got 4 more nights here 🤦‍♂️

I would highly recommend the Body and Sol Spa at the hotel.

The spa reduced their hours which was totally acceptable.

but they make you feel like you’re the most valuable guest and the spa is superb very recommended.

This en-suite had a spa and a large shower.

There is also a lovely massage shop across the road your looking at about 8 pounds for an hours massage absolute bliss i went for about 4.

I added a pedicure for an extremely nominal fee.

The spa well worth a visit we had a 3hr spar and felt we where walking on air when we had finished.

You also get 4 items of clothing per person laundered daily, a massage, your mini bar refilled every day and if you are staying over 8 nights as we did you get a romantic 5 course meal on the beach with your own personal waiter, Agung was our waiter, who also served at the Menega restaurant and he was fabulous.

Blissful stay at this resort and spa hotel.

They also have lots of other things: beach volleyball, table tennis, gym, in house spa (we go out to the local shops for AUD $10/hour).

We loved this hotel for many reasons:
- up to date, rooms are well maintained, spacious and clean (we stayed in a junior suite)
- medium size hotel, yet not crowded
- awesome pool, floating Fatboys are fun, the pool bar is wonderful
- great food, large choice, no matter the theme
- dreamy beach
- awesome spa, we really enjoyed the treatments!

- Staff were very nice and accommodating, let me move rooms and use the spa shower after check-out and before leaving for the airport.

The spa was a nice treat, there are spas outside of the hotel (across the road) that are cheaper

A relaxing two week stay, I had especially took advantage of the hotel massage parlour.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful.

but the staff were just amazing, they went out of their way to help, including transport to and from hosptial and follow up treatment by the registered nurse at the resort.

Instead we had to find our way around the area and booked tours with taxi drivers instead of using the operators at the hotel and at the beach hotel.

Taxi from the airport booked at the airport desk cost 200,000 rupiahs,,,,, used the uber app on the way back to the airport.. and cost us 55,500 rupiahs!?!?!?

He also does airport runs if you're organising your own transport.

The concierge made it easy to arrange transportation to the sights we wanted to see.

We opted not to go all inclusive as there was a shopping area with many restaurant only 20 mins stroll along the beach footpath with most offering complimentary transport back to the local hotels.

Get a taxi to and from airport much cheaper than hotel transport.

Final tip, the stores at the hotel as well as the front desk person in charge of organizing transport bargain over everything.

Everything else seems to be a taxi ride away.

Finally, use the hotel private Airport transport.

The hotel car service was brilliant, they met me at the airport and took me to and fro to the trade show every day and were reliable, helpful and friendly.

There are many restaurants locally that provide free transportation to and from dinner.

Your choice whether you do this via excursions or arrange yourself via one of the many people who spring up and offer you transport (ask your fellow guests for recommendations - they will usually point you in the right direction).

II recommend that you book transport just outside the hotel which is a lot cheaper.

Great hits for families and close to seminyak beach.

They also have a part of the beach fenced off for hotel stayers.

The location is a few minutes walk to the beach plus they have a free beach shuttle!

It’s only minutes from the beach where there are lots of nice restaurants and bars.

The concierge service is really handy as they have shuttles to take you to the private beach area (where we were looked after very well by Joni).

When looking to venture around Seminyak the hotel is in a perfect location right between both the restaurants and the beach.

The shuttle service is amazing too, you can get it anytime and they drop you either at their private beach area (WiFi also included) or to the busy spot for restaurants.

The only disadvantage of the hotel is that it is around 100 metres from the beach

Breakfast buffet at this location was top notch with a huge variety of selection.

From seating us during breakfast as well as making sure that our check out process was seamless!

The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have been to.

Breakfast is possibly the best I’ve experienced, and I’m 44, I’ve had loads of them!

There are options for all tastes and its the one place in Bali we managed to have bacon for breakfast, so really gave some home comfort.

The breakfast choices were amazing never had so much choice.

She really looked after me every morning at breakfast.

There are sunbathing/relaxing area with sunbeams and umbrellas and pools.

Pembri was our busy for breakfast and after one visit remembered all of our names and made sure our stay was perfect.

Breakfast at the Seminyak Kitchen was a sumptuous affair with  wide selection of Indonesian, Western and Asian food items.

Breakfast buffet is spectacular as a titanium it was included for two people everyday above and beyond what they are required!

The food at Marriott was fantastic- including gluten free bread and a wide choice of food options at breakfast time.

I really recommend this hotel to those who travelling with kids.. they have kids club, nice pool and good pool bar.

The kids club was a savior for me and I was able to leave my baby there for two hours and go for a massage at the spa.

Also great facilities for families and kids-kids club.

Kids club here is fantastic with a ball pit and other play things and activities all day.

The kids club is extremely convenient with its 2 hours free of charge every day.

A buggy service is really great for transporting you to the beach club and surrounding amenities.
