This place is a reason for us to travel again at Bali!

For us, we wanted to split our time between the beach and the Ubud parts of Bali and knowing that we may only be able to visit Bali once, wanted to have that extraordinary, once in a lifetime experience.

After the intensity of densely urban Jakarta, and the charms and global political mantle of Bandung, it was time for the lush beauty and ritually rich region of Bali and Ubud.

He is funny, sociable, and just great to talk to super knowledgeable about all of Bali culture and history and helping taking us around the city and even helping barter for good prices in shops!

Really made our vacation in Bali a memorable one.

Mandapa truly made our trip to Bali even more special and memorable.

A visit to Bali can be a delightful experience.

It was just amazing experience and hospitality
I felt so welcomed and treated with respect
Resort itself was perfect for a getaway
I didnt wanted to leave
I will definately go back if i visit Bali area
It was one of my best stay in my life
Its just amazing. .

Thank you Winana for teaching us yoga and the culture of Bali.

So beautifully curated, bringing together the iconic Bali culture into one place.

It was wonderful to be back in Bali and in particular in Ubud staying at Mandapa, where the staff could't be happier to welcome guests and nothing was too much trouble.

We wanted to elope in Bali, and are so glad we chose Mandapa.

Like many people, we came to Bali after a 2 year Covid delay and after reading so many great things about Mandapa on Trip Advisor we decided to head here and upgrade to a River view Pool villa and it did not disappoint.

here during my recent trip to Bali and it far exceeded any expectations I had.

I stayed here during my recent trip to Bali and it far exceeded any expectations I had.

I would like to thank all of the employees who made sure we had the best experience, from Niti who welcomed us with the utmost hospitality, took care of all our needs throughout, and made sure we had a wonderful stay; Bayu who made the best food we tasted in Bali (all the dishes in the restaurant are delectable!

Definitely one of the best stays We’ve experienced in Bali.

A truly wonderful experience - one of the best stays I've experienced in Bali.

I really hope that I will be able to stay with my family, because without having to leave the hotel the activities offered in the hotel are enough to carry out activities while in Bali.

I also loved the fact they had a small petting zoo with animals for my son to play with and ranges of traditional toys that are hard to find these days.

Nice afternoon coffee experience at Ambar restaurant, when we are arrived we saw many beautiful spot of picture, very warm welcome from Ambar staff, great food and thanks for Service Wijana and Willy you are the best

Kudos also to Mia and the rest of the service staff at Sawah Restaurant who made us feel like VVIP every time we had our meals there.

We had an absolutely incredible honeymoon candlelight dinner there.

Great great spot beautiful and the food is incredible weather breakfast lunch or dinner

The Food was great everywhere, and the extra attention to detail like giving you face mist, lotion, bug spray and coconut water every time you sat down at the pool was really cool.

Fabulous service, excellent food, completely 7 star - not 5 star.

The food at both restaurants is excellent.

at the Sawah Terrace Indonesian restaurant, which also has great cocktails.

The food was absolutely fantastic at their restaurants, with so much attention to detail on how the food was plated and served.

You can’t go wrong with either and if you want to eat in, the room service menu is equally extensive!

All the food superb, all of the staff, friendly and professional.

The only heads up is that the resort is built for being in the nature so definitely be prepared for hot and humidity as all the restaurants, lobby, bars are outdoors.

The service was impeccable, the attention to detail was refreshing and the food and services were 6 stars.

Book if you would like dinner in the bamboo huts in Kuba.

Delicious breakfast (European and local) and dinner and the possibility to eat outdoor.

Our pool villa was stunning and spacious, the grounds of the hotel are large with lush natural landscape, the hotel is amazingly situated with the lobby high on the hill and the spa and restaurant down below along the bend of the river, and the breakfast buffet is like no other.

It comes with a separate set menu with Indonesian chef selections, which were incredibly delicious.

butler, and our family unanimously voted the private dining meals prepared by our own chef as far superior to the dining experiences at Mandapa, despite the resort food costing 4x the price.

I am allergic to mold n dust and musty smell and I didnt have to take any antihistamine during my stay.

The smell, the details, the tranquility is incomparable

however omelets were consistently burned day to day.

Rain forest one bedroom pool villa offers absolute privacy, smell and view of the forest, bamboos, wind overall it is priceless.

The noise is gone, the air smells of sweet frangipan.

Days were spent with early morning sightseeing trips around Bali (when the weather is cooler and the volume of tourists are relatively low) followed by lazy afternoons of sunbathing and relaxing swims under the fragrant smelling trees, warm sunshine and cicadas singing all around us.

They need to put wood on the floor as well ,a standard sauna feature the current tile gets too hot and burns your feet.

The sound of rushing water from the river and small waterfalls, the smoky smell of incense and sweet jasmine.

The entire team at the breakfast, Yoga studio, spa, swimming pool and front desk made our honeymoon beautifully memorable so THANK YOU!

We offer 35 suites, 25 private pool villas, four unique dining concepts, including exclusive dining beyond experiences within the Reserve, and a restorative Spa and fitness center.

He would be waiting for us before & after tours, arranged reservations / pool chairs / spa, etc.

Book in advance for the spa because its very busy

butler Riadi was willing to help on any of our requests, including planning a massage for each of us at the amazing spa situated on the river.

The sheer location of the sprawling estate, as if in the valley of a caldera, allowed every guest to awaken to the timeless beauty of lush green jungle, rice patties, and a artistically brilliant set of buildings and villas, pools, spa, restaurants, and even a Hindu temple adjacent to a flowing Ayung river.

Our fourth and final day was for relaxation; we got massages at the spa, which were excellent.

The spa at Mandapa is also highly recommended.

Losing my necklace: I left my necklace in the locker in the spa.

The hammam (steam room) and sauna are perfect, and the jacuzzi overlooking the valley has giant jets!

The Spa's treatment so relaxing, the essence oil, profesional therapist, herbal tea, wow!

Tari the lead therapist is one of the most intuitive and skillful massages we’ve ever had.

The spa was wonderful, and the treatments were exceptional.

Everyone else is just as amazing, from the Sawah restaurant crew that remembers I like sugar in my coffee, the spa crew with their magic hands, the Ambar bar team that opens later because we’re running late past last order from the restaurant.

The spa had a great ambience and the treatment room was big with the view of the Ayung River.

I came because I had heard amazing things about their spa and had scheduled a session with Ibu Ketut Mursi as well as another healer.

The team were so kind, genuine, so lovely!

butler Tapsir was very kind to us and made our stay very comfortable.

The staff is incredibly nice, always smiling and willing to help.

The entire staff was amazing, and would remember our names and Villa number.

The stuff is polite and helpful, they arranged all the activities we wanted!

The Balinese people are truly happy and generous people, always interacting with a genuine smile.

Riadi was a standout providing us with exceptional service throughout our stay.

Service was flawless and very focused on understanding and accommodating individual guest preferences.

This was one of the best holidays that I’ve had thanks to the team at Mandapa.

We were welcomed by the GM of the Mandapa and our Butler Tapsir who presented us with both cold towels and welcome drinks.

They are managerial marvels and invest selflessly in ensuring an exquisite guest experience.

What a nice place to relax the kitchen is top notch and the staff super friendly.

Overall staff are super friendly and nice.

The view is breathtaking and the staff is beyond kind 🤍.

As you enter down a humble driveway, the magnitude of its beauty is only realised when you are beyond the reception area, looking down the valley where the resort sit hidden in the jungle of Ayung River.

butler, Riadi - thank you Riadi for all of your help and kindness.

but let me tell you there was a thoughtful surprise at every turn throughout our four nights largely orchestrated by Riadi - one of the kindest and most genuine souls you will ever meet.

For our family of four, the included Butler service was very attentive and thoughtful.

Many many thanks to Agung, I had never experienced such incredible service.

The outstanding Mandapa hospitality starts the minute you arrive at the front gates, greeted by the security staff, and as you arrive in the foyer of the resort, you are warmly greeted by name and welcomed by a team - the bellhops, the hosts who come with blessings of protection and the resort manager, Reka.

An ideal destination for the experience collectors, Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is beautifully set where the lush jungle meets the Ayung River and temples stand majestic against a backdrop of rice terraces.

butler Marka who made us feel so special and made our experience even more amazing.

The experience is enough to remember for a lifetime.

Niti is truly a wonderful person, and can honestly say our experience was as wonderful as it was because of her.

The mandapa is truly a once in a lifetime experience.

All in all this was one of our best resort experiences so far and we can only highly recommend it.

but had we done that we would have missed out on a much grander experience.

They truly went above and beyond to make our experience as memorable as possible.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every aspect of it like nothing we’ve experienced before.

Batur, a very worthwhile experience (but be prepared to wake up at 2am), once again with Pardika.

Our overall experience at this resort was very good and memorably

My experience was truly marvelous and exceptional.

Moreover the food was excellent and the breakfast buffet selection was incredible: Thank you for your hospitality and we hope to be back very soon!

The BEST hotel experience I have EVER had.

We enjoyed our experience at Kubu back in 2017 so much that we decided to stay at Mandapa this time!

We are "eat local" people so the Sawah Terrace was our choice for almost all meals.

Sawah Terrace specialized in Balinese dinners overlooking the Ayung River from above, while Kubu specialized in a gourmet degustation menu or an a la carte gourmet menu on the banks of the Ayung.

Meals at the Sawah Terrace and Kuba by the River are highly recommended.

The food and drink at Sawah Terrace and Kubu were superb.

Cleaning my sister’s shoe: my sister stepped in some mud at a rice terrace.

Indonesian Cuisine at the Sawah Terrace was also authentic, refined and tasteful that made every meal something to look forward to!

Every meal we enjoyed whether in our villa or Sawah Terrace was exceptional.

I was fortunate to stay in a 1 bedroom Villa located on the river front, the size and amenities offered were awesome - sitting on the terrace and listening to the river flow past really made the stay.

The rest of the hotel is equally up to a very high standard; the views from the terrace at Sawah restaurant equal the beautiful food we ate there (so good we rarely had dinner out); the reception area is breathtaking - views are incredible, the fixtures and fittings here really high class, and the view of sunset from the bar is magical.

We are very thankful that we got up graded to a villa, overlooking the rice terrace which was very beautiful.

Thanks to all Mandapa team, Gus Ari (F&B manager), Pina, Yunik and Lisma (Sawah Terrace), Nersi, Komang and chef Deva (Kubu Restaurant), Yumas, Yossi and specially for Riadi (our Patih), we all have great experience here.

but I think facing rice terrace gives an extraordinary view.

And I really enjoyed my dinner at the Sawah Terrace.

We also enjoy our Christmas eve dinner at The Sawah Terrace, the foods, the services were exceptional.

Terrace restaurant has the kindest and sweetest staff.

We dined at Kubu and Sawah Terrace during our stay and they were both amazing!

However, as we approached the check-in terrace, the view was breathtaking!

And I love the Balinese cuisine at the Sawah Terrace with the beautiful view.

Everything hidden out of view of course, so you can feel like Robinson Crusoe while watching TikTok.

breakfast is amazing with a beautiful view of the river.

Probafantasticost elaborate and most unique hotelexperience we have had, We Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my family, the hotel overall service, location are all good, view is fantastic

I will be back again

Checked out on 19/07 and i already miss the breathtaking views, spacious and beautiful villas!

The view onto the river from the villa was sublime and very relaxing.

Breathtaking views, excellent service, very friendly staff and extraordinary villas by all means.

What makes this place amazing, apart from the excellent food and beautiful view, is how wonderful the staff are.

The view and ambiance is something I will dream about in Melbourne winters …with the sound and sight of the Ajung River imprinted in my mind.

The room was clean and spacious, the restaurants were all top notch with amazing views of the river, the complimentary activities were so much fun, and the kid’s club was such a blessing too!

The views are divine, like you’ve arrived at the doors of heaven, overlooking a beautiful, tranquil valley with the river flowing below.

The lobby (they didn't actually call the area lobby though) offers a birds eye view of the resort.

This resort is nothing short of beautiful and has breathtaking views of Ayung River.

The view and the vibe was the top notched, the hospitality was also hard to beat.

I love their room, food, view, service, and especially the staffs!

butler, Pramini, upon checking in, and graced by one of the best views atop the paddy fields and Ayung river.

Breakfast at the Sawah was wonderful and we never tired of the view.

Bali is amazing, we made some wonderful new friends and I will definitely be back - just not here sadly!

To set the scene, I first came to Bali in 2017 and stayed at this hotel.

Me and my partner came here for a relaxing end to our bali trip after being in Ubud and Gili T. Our hotels in those places were of way better standard than this hotel the Sol.

We are traveling next year to Sol by Melia Benoa Bali - All Inclusive and want to confirm our booking made through Agoda with the resort.

Oceania Biru Bali, Gendis Hair & Salon, Asti Spa Organic Bali, Reva Jewellery, Titanium Bali Massage, Titanium Bali Massage, Glo Day Spa & Salon Seminyak, Eastern Garden Martha Tilaar Spa, Krakakoa Chocolate Factory & Store, "Shisha Temple" Hookah Lounge, 2REP Divers Bali, Bahiana Salsa Bar, Gong Komodo Tour, Bamboo Spa, Golden Queen Fast Boat, Bali Ashiatsu & Wellness, Lourdes Spa, Prana Spa, Barrio & Co, 361 Fastboat Bali, Chill Reflexology, Carla Spa Sanur, Bali Mission Tour, Travelling Compass, Seminyak Driver - Private Tours, Bali Seminyak Driver - Day Tours, NIKKI COLLECTIONS Tailor & Leather, Spa Madhavi, Purnama Massage & Bodywork, Balikara Spa, Sava Spa Bali, Murano Spa, Mika Thai Spa, KIMA Surfari, MaheMaheBali Tours, Natural Skin Center&spa, Bali Season Tour - Day Tour, Kharisma Travel Bali, Bali Beach Golf Course, Bali Joe Bar, Kaiana Salon and Spa, Bali Jo Driver - Day Tours, La Karma Spa, Kharisma Dive, Siloam Spa & Fitness Center, Pelangi Bali Tour - Day Tours, Cosebelle, Putra Agung Wine Shop, Deanna Day Spa, Zema Healing, Niki Bali Tours, Eco Bali Spa, Ballinas Spa, MOXX !

and after reaching Bali the moment I reached the hotel they gave us a warm welcome .

It had always been my dream to visit Bali and it did not disappoint.

To summarise; if you’re looking for a traditional Balinese type hotel, this isn’t the place for you, it almost has the feel of Benidorm not Bali!

Of course though, we stayed over Christmas, and whilst Christmas is not celebrated in Bali as a whole as they are mostly Hindu, Sol Beach House made it very special.

Bali is an experience like no other and this place just makes the trip so much better.

We stayed the Sol Beach House Bali Benoa, for three weeks in November 2019.

Thanks for a great time, next time we return to Bali will prob go somewhere with a bit more nightlife like Seminyak otherwise highly recommend the hotel for couples and families wanting a quieter holiday!

Just got back last night and spent 5 days here. Our first time in Bali and if we come back will definitely be here.Just seen a review from someone that was there same time as us, and whilst everyone has their own views i feel i must express our opinions.

it was so nice, if I come back to Bali I will book here again
nice people, wonderfull diners, nice music and shows at night
everything is very clean and the beach is also nice
not to busy,

First time trip to Bali , and so pleased we chose this hotel .

We stayed at SOL Beach for 3 days during our trip in Bali.

The food was good.We had fantastic weather.Just across the road is a massage salon called Misel,s and for £5.70 you can have an hour massage we had quite a few.Thank you to everyone at the hotel. We had breakfast with the Orangutans at the Bali Zoo this was amazing, if you are thinking of going the hotel tour operator wanted £244.00 we did it by getting a local taxi to reserve out tickets, he collected us a 7.00 am and waited for us for only £83.00 for the two of us.The hotel is small which we loved.

On another day we had breakfast with the orang utans at Bali zoo which was a great experience.

I would recommend going to the zoo, the kids fed the tigers and the elephants, and visiting the rice fields, particularly if you could spend time in one of the cafés which overlook the fields drinking a cool beer.

Went sight seeing for a day to the zoo and other places and found prices rather high for a 3rd world country and every one wants a tip.

If you fancy seeing more of Bali, the hotel arranged a driver for us with a fully air conditioned people carrier that took us to Bali Zoo, the Ubud markets, a temple and a great view of the terraced rice fields.

Food is great, as you would not imagine for an All Inclusive.

We ended up being all inclusive in the end as it was cheaper to do that that pay for one meal.

We got the gold all inclusive which basically included everything like 4 items of laundry per day (including pressing) and a 60 minute couple massage (incredible).

We didn’t do all inclusive just breakfast as we like to eat at local warungs which were an easy walk from hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, I got the gold all inclusive package and I found it to be really good.

The all inclusive was great, as we didn't need to think about money or paying anything during our stay.

all inclusive is the perfect holiday food is great, pool is greate , beach is great, little lane way next door with market stalls same prices and goods as in Kuta .nice massages across the road and circleQ store as well.

The Sol by Melia Benoa Bali - All Inclusive is near these landmarks: Caow Eng Bio Chinese Buddhist Temple, Bali Wake Park, Samasta Lifestyle Village, Waterbom Bali, Lovina Tours, Uluwatu Temple, DMZ Bali 3D Art Museum, Putu Bali Tour, Double Six Beach, Batu Belig Beach, Perancak Beach, Canggu Beach, Kinship bali tour, Tanah Lot Temple, Kelingking Beach, Taman Ayun Temple, Freedive Nusa, Aan Secret Waterfall, Bias Tugel Beach, Benoa Harbour, Jimbaran Bay, Pandawa Beach, Legian Beach, Seminyak Beach, Taman Festival, Kharisma Antiques Bali, Flow Beauty Lab, Batu Bolong Beach, Pura Penataran Er Jeruk, Ogoh-Ogoh Museum, Apnea Penida, Kusamba Traditional Salt Mining, Jimbaran Fish Market, Beachwalk Shopping Center, Garlic Lane, Bajra Sandhi Monument, Nyaman Gallery, Petitenget Beach, Ulu Watu Beach, Berawa Beach, Bali Dirt Bikes, Casa Home Spa, Pererenan Beach, Tanah Lot Cycling Tours, Sangeh Traditional Village - Day Tours, Saraswati Temple, Blue Lagoon Beach, Bhava Spa Nusa Dua, PT.

Last year I was able to change the dates of our 3 night all inclusive pre paid stay with no problems at all.

The smell of Frangipani flowers were everywhere in the hotel,I will always keep this precious memory.Great value for the money, if you choose All inclusive.

We didnt wanted all inclusive because we wanted to travel and discover places around,

No bar service on the beach or the pool, the swim up bar was popular, if you bought a package for all inclusive drinks and food, we didn’t as the food was really bad and the drinks included local Balinese liquors and wine.

It exceeded our expectations & it really was ALL inclusive.

We are on a bed and breakfast basis and we were going to upgrade to all inclusive and I’m so glad we didn’t, the food standard to the other two hotels we have stayed in Bali is no where near the quality, with it being an all inclusive resort be prepared to eat your breakfast from a tea plate.

All in all, this resort was well worth the money we paid for all inclusive.

hen party) and want to immerse into all inclusive and reap the value.

after several weeks on the road I needed a true break from everything and booked a stay at the Sol Beach House under an all Inclusive gold package.

We did not choose all inclusive because there are restaurants in the hotel and also in the neighborhood.

I had the silver package the room was just perfect very clean and had everything that you needed.

We did the gold package so eat of all menus mini bar topped up every day and got are washing done every day all in the deal.

As part of the package we had premium drinks (which included sparkling wine) and 4 pieces of laundry each per day - a luxury that we took full advantage of, plus a complementary massage.

We had taken the all-inclusive package which I would highly recommend, it just all added to the most relaxing and stressless holiday we've had for a long time ;)
The Spa was wonderful and the treatments we had were great.

We didn't book the all inclusive package (silver / gold) because we love to explore local restaurants near by, plenty of choices range from fancy AUD$100 posh meal to local food truck $2. 5.

We stayed in the Xtra Beach House Junior Suite in a ground floor room with the Silver All Inclusive Package.

The hotel is right by the beach and they offer various watersport packages.

I’m glad I did not choose the all-inclusive package though.

The food was the highlight for me, being able to order from the a la carte menu within the all inclusive package was great and the a la carte menu was lovely.

From welcome cocktails and traditional dancers on arrival, to massages by the beach, romantic meals on the beach too - it's just wonderful. The rooms were so spacious and clean, and we upgraded to gold package and had sparkling rose waiting with each meal.

Check in wasn’t smooth, just wanted to sell us all inclusive package, at 1,080,000rp per person per night silver.

An All Inclusive package makes this a dream holiday mainly for couples or adult groups.

We stayed here for 10 nights with gold package and just couldn’t be happier.

We upgraded to a GOLD BAND Package ( all inclusive) .

Looks like the inside/pool view is only for the all inclusive package.

Me and my partner prefer to leave the hotel using it as a ‘base’ and travel outside the hotel area to visit other bars and restaurants.

The food here is beautiful mind you and the staff are very hard working and very helpful,

The food in the night was usually off the menu

Food was awfull supposed to have 3 restaurants

If you like beer, local version tastes like Bud.

Everything was really wonderful, the staff, the room, the food, the pool, the beach, and the island!

The breakfast buffet was really nice and you could eat indoors in aircon or put on the verandah.

The range of drinks was great and I really enjoyed the free room service that was included in my package.
