This is a first class luxury hotel located in a very congested part of Atlanta.

First time to Atlanta, and the Four Seasons was AMAZING.

The Four Seasons Atlanta lived up to the name and my expectations.

From start to finish I couldn’t ask for a better team to help me making my stay very wonderful and meaningful Atlanta has one of the finest four seasons out

En route to Athens we missed our connection in Atlanta and

Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta is truly Glitzy.

We will always stay at this property when in Atlanta.

We came to Atlanta to show our daughter the Oceanarium and the Botanical garden.

I cannot say enough how much I enjoy every time that I stay at The Four Seasons Atlanta.

I've been traveling a lot for work, and the Four Seasons Atlanta really knocked my socks off.

Class act and this will be our home base every time we come to Atlanta.

This hotel is located in midtown Atlanta, which is near a Whole foods and nice dining and nightlife.

Property is located is located in a safer part of Atlanta and was easy to get to and from airport.

My husband had a meeting in Atlanta so I tagged along and worked from the hotel room.

The Four Seasons Atlanta has that in spades.

It is definitely the place to be in Atlanta.

We will definitely be rerun visitors 2$3’ in the Atlanta area!

We stayed at this hotel for its location to our family excursions, this is now our permanent hotel in Atlanta.

The Four Seasons Atlanta always has amazingly kind staff and the space is luxurious and clean!

I noted staff being exceptional at front desk on check in and check out, at the pool, gym and restaurant and they were  They also do have one Peloton bike in the fitness center which is a plus, the salt indoor pool was really great for my kids also along with an amazing Sunday brunch so there was some balance here

There is a large gym and a large indoor pool.

The in-room dining was delicious, the indoor pool was beautiful, and the staff was so professional.

Beautiful room with perfect service  it has a great indoor pool with hot tub.

The night before this we had drinks and dessert on the couches/seating area on the indoor balcony and had a wonderful time.

The indoor pool was fantastic and breakfast was delicious!

The indoor pool is amazing - the nicest I've seen.

Staff was very accommodating and friendly, we really enjoyed our in-room dining, and swimming in the indoor pool.

My colleagues used the indoor saltwater pool and spoke very highly of it.

The hotel has a fantastic indoor pool so bring your swimsuit.

The indoor pool, hot tub, women's steam room and sauna were also great!

We swam in the indoor pool and jacuzzi, rare features in city hotels.

This is as good as it gets in Atlanta, excellent service, great food, great indoor pool, just had remodel done, we do not like new decor, bring back the old, most all professional sports teams stay here

We love the indoor pool and hot tub this time of year.

The indoor pool is very nice and the sitieing of the outdoor patio gives it summer sun from 10-5.

I enjoy the indoor pool and steam and sauna as well.

Finally the Spa and indoor swimming pool was really good.

Beautiful, large pool area with lots of light, a patio, with food service.

I was at the top floor excellent view staff were kind and quick the room was luxuries the food was great the pool was the best and the hotel was super modern same the the lounge and waiting area I recommend this hotel for sure.

The pool and hot tub are spectacular and honestly would go back  just for this.

I didn’t make time for the spa, pool or work out gym

Everything about they stay, from the room to the awesome pool, great snacks and drinks at Bar Margaux and a wonderful breakfast at Park 75.

The pool attendants were great and food delicious.

After my wife and I separated for treatments and pool activity, I asked the staff to get a message regarding our after-spa plans to my wife.

We enjoyed in room dining, the pool and spa, the kid’s amenities, the turn down service.

The amenities included a 24 hour business center, fitness center, pool and spa.

The saltwater pool is impressive and perfect for swimming laps.

It’s well located and we enjoyed the gym and the pool this time.

but it is huge, has the newest equipment (they even have 2 Pelotons), and the pool is beautiful and actually long enough to swim laps.

The spa and pool area are the best I have ever seen.

The second room smelled like a neighbor was smoking.

but also the strong marijuana smell in my room and hallway leading to my room.

The dank smell inside the ice room was a clear indication that there is a problem.

The complimentary cheese tray/dessert tray that was sent to our room was old and nasty.

The room was perfectly appointed and fairly clean: the bathroom sink was not clean in particular the drainage was not properly working because it was filthy dirty.

The rooms are dark and dingy and unfortunately very dark in decor and pillows smelled terrible as if they were never cleaned.

The first room we went to smelled like bug spray so we got moved to another room.

My room smells like  both the carpet and the mattress are off gassing.

Our older room had that lovely, moldy carpet smell.

This time, they gave me a room with a very strong dog odor.

Upon entering the 5th floor room we were hit with the obvious odor of tobacco.

Bath towels on last day smelled almost like they were a bit burnt from the dryers.

The window exteriros had not been washed in looked to be years; just filthy (and I wasn't even on the construction side).

The stench was so bad, that I asked my daughter to smell my breath, shoes and back, because I was afraid that perhaps I smelled or had stepped in something, as it smelled like vomit.

Seemed to need updating and a smell I can only describe as "Holiday Inn".

And I had gotten out of the pool just moments before they discovered the poop.

So all in all, should I need to stay in downtown Atlanta again, I will be giving the Ellis a pass.

Would certainly stay here again when back in Atlanta!

Simply put this was my first stay in downtown Atlanta and I am so glad I selected Ellis Hotel.

We have been coming to Atlanta for many years and have enjoyed staying at The Ellis  for it's proximity to the gift show and the boutique quality of the hotel.

This is a great location in Midtown Atlanta that is near alot of restaurants, attractions, entertainment and transportation hubs.

I traveled from South Carolina to Atlanta, Georgia for a business conference that was being held.

Definitely was a great place to stay for our time in Atlanta!

The Ellis is one of my favorite hotels in Atlanta.

Easily one of the best (and honestly probably the best) hotel I’ve stayed at in Atlanta in terms of service, room quality, and amenities.

but I would likely stay at a different one the next time I visited Atlanta.

My husband and I came to Atlanta to handle business and visit a few family members.

We just visited Atlanta for a birthday weekend getaway/Labor day vacation and LOVED the Ellis Hotel.

In Atlanta where many hotels seem huge the space in the hotel in addition to the staff.

Stay Report - 6/29 to 6/30

Location: The location is ideal if you want to be in Downtown Atlanta.

The location is good--a MARTA station is across the street--but I won't be staying there the next time I'm in Atlanta.

I travel to downtown Atlanta for business a few times every year, and this hotel is my favorite.

2nd time I’ve stayed at this hotel and Atlanta and I really liked it.

When booking I wanted to have the boutique experience in Atlanta for a birthday weekend with the hubby.

The upper terrace you see in photos is no longer for dinning so all you have is a patio on the street and indoor .

The hotel didn’t offer a lot like spa, shopping, pool, hot tub, jacuzzi it just wasn’t a lot to see or be awwwd by

When I called the front desk to let them know that the door was not locking, had appeared to be kicked in and a broken peep hole, the front desk simply said, “we’ve had people in that room last night and there was no problems”.

but the constant knocking on the door hours in advance was cutting into my somber.

Old, noisy, rude or ignorant staff and zero adherence to Marriott Bonvoy guest benefits.

Check out day she came banging (not knocking) on my door at 8:33am to see if I was still there and ask when I was leaving. What?!?

Night 1 - tried to call room service for 30 minutes and received a constant busy signal.

but unfortunately the guests next door were extremely loud talking well into the night, and the walls were not soundproofed so we could hear every word and couldn’t sleep.

Difficult to be in an area alone and having to find your way through a myriad of hotels, people, traffic and stress.

I was on the twelfth floor and did not notice street noise overnight.

Major complaint is the room AC which cycles on and off and rattles.

I was on the 11th floor and could here cars, sirens, people hollering, etc.

Then there was the astoundingly noisy ice machine on my floor that for some reason chose to make ice between 1 and 3 AM.

The traffic can be noisy, especially because it is at a key intersection.

There was a woman staying next to me and I could hear her entire phone conversation.

but it's a good idea to call ahead to the front desk about 10 minutes before any departure if you have valet parking because of the traffic surrounding the hotel.

Also, the fan is so loud, it was like trying to sleep next to an airplane engine.

The room was noisy for being on the 15th floor(lots of slamming doors) and the toilet ran all night.

Unfortunately the AC didn’t cook the room, the room smelled like dirty docks and there was banging going on in the unit above.

The rooms were a little on the small side

I stayed in a standard king room and found the room to be on the small side.

The rooms are TINY and very very outdated.

but room was very small, pretty average in many ways, a few things looked a little a worn and could use some attention.

The first room we were given was so small we could barely turnaround.

So I’m staying at the Marriott currently in Atlanta.

You have many choices in downtown Atlanta.

Being from Houston and Houston Marquis having the BEST experience in that city we were excited to try Atlanta when we landed.

I had an amazing stay in my first time in Atlanta!

Large property of Marriott , only 11 minutes from the international airport & about similar time to Atlanta aquarium & the Coca Cola museum has everything that a traveller would look for, including Starbucks inside the hotel itself , large gym , huge banquet halls , property is recovering from the aftermaths of Covid 19 in terms of trained & competent staff

Great pool and wonderful views of Atlanta!

My friends and I stay at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis for DragonCon every year and hope to continue the tradition in perpetuity.

We always stay at the Marriott Marquis any time in Atlanta.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday in Atlanta and thought this looked like a nice hotel.

On our last night, she brought our little one a handwritten note and flowers praising her for her spirit and work in Atlanta and encouraging her to keep at it.

Furry Weekend Atlanta has grown exceptionally since my first FWA in 2016 - it grew this year to become the world’s second largest furry convention, and Atlanta Marriott Marquis stood up to the challenge and succeeded!!

but especially as it is a Marriott standard in Atlanta for a long time.

In April 2023, I went to the Atlanta Marriott Marquis for a Ladies Lectureship for about 2,000 women from churches around the country for a weekend.

All around, the Atlanta Marriott Marquis is awesome.

Great place to stay during your visit to Atlanta.

What an amazing experience for the New Year bringing in 2023 @ the Magnificent Marriott Marquis Downtown Atlanta!

I would stay again and recommend to anyone traveling to Atlanta.

The indoor-outdoor pool was a hit with my daughter, especially when it was raining.

I was so excited to plan a nice trip for our anniversary (although we had our 4 year old with us) so we chose this place based on the indoor pool (I knew it would be a rainy weekend).

Nice indoor pool and others said the gym was very well equippped.

The indoor atrium is simply stunning to look at.

Don comped the room, as well as treated me to one of the best steaks I've ever had in their indoor restaurant from Sear($150.00 hotel credit).

Nice pool for families and to cool off from the summer heat (indoor/outdoor).

There are good amenities, including an indoor/outdoor pool and small hot tub.

Walking distance to the convention Center. Nice indoor pool, suprisingly not busy with 6 a.m. - 10 (or 8?)

They have an indoor outdoor pool, a salon and a fitness center.

This hotel is in a great location, close to most sights that you want to see and an indoor mall, just across the street on the opposite corner.

The heated indoor/outdoor pool was a hit and the fitness center offers a great range of cardio/resistance machines and free weights.

A great gym and spa with plenty of room unlike some other US hotels the Marriott also has a indoor outdoor pool so swimming all year round!

I did get to use the pool during a break in the conference as it is indoor/outdoor and there is plenty of outside seating to catch some rays if you can.

Inside the hotel, they have Starbucks shop, a gift shop, a bar and indoor pools.

My kids love the size of the hotel, the glass elevators, and the nice indoor/outdoor swimming pool.

My students really loved the indoor/outdoor pool area.

There is a nice combination indoor/outdoor pool and spa with a bar, and a marketplace store with a great selection of food, drinks, sundries, and various gifts.

The pool was an indoor/outdoor pool and there was also a small hot tub.

The pool was a divided indoor/outdoor, heated, clean, and able to fit 40 kids comfortably.

Parking was $59 dollars which again seems pricey.

$50 ish a night for parking, which is overpriced.

I would like to start by saying that the parking and valet situation was a complete mess.

The website states that valet parking is available,

so I ended up doing about 6 trips up and down countless flights of stairs to incrementally ferry all of our luggage down to the parking elevators at the rear of the hotel.

The parking situation at this hotel is very frustrating if you do not want to valet your car.

Definitely not worth $300.00 a night and the crazy $50 a day parking fee.

When checking in, we were told valet was full and to find parking elsewhere.

Only valet parking is offered, which was $50 a day, so we parked in a nearby deck for less than half of that.

There's no self-parking, so you must utilize the hotel's valet parking.

Valet parking was way overpriced for that poor slow service.

And in terms of overcharging, parking is $55 a night which is crazy.

The valets were rude and the cost of nightly parking was ridiculous- $55.

Rates are still excluding the absolutely ridiculous $55 per day parking fee on top of the $200 a night room rate plus taxes of around 20%.

Valet parking was $55 a day and the room rate $399/night I expected much more than what we received.

They charged my cousin twice for her parking after she paid valet in cash.

Negatives: valet parking is the only option at $55 a day, and upon checkout took about 45 minutes to get our car.

It was bad enough to get to valet parking

We also used the swimming pool whilst we were there which was very nice.

We utilized the pool which was warm and clean.

There are so many floors and sublevels it can be mindboggling. The facilities (restaurants, bar, the pool, mini-store, Starbucks, etc.)

There is a pool available, and the nearby Hilton (connected) has basketball and tennis courts.

I was able to get more furshoots in with Sebai the Pepsi Cat and others - also got out of fursuit for a pool party with Tony and Kyle.

Day 3
1st - Towels for pool area, again there were none.

The hotel also has a very nice pool area.

Had a fun time explaining to my autistic son who had a bathing suit on that the pool was closed.

We were also in town for a dance convention at the connected Hilton property and were frustrated with the closure of the sky bridge (not mentioned in the any of the covid info on the hotel website- pool and gym are open

They also online did not say the pools were closed, which was the main reason I booked here.

but it was cut short due to an inspections of some sort that closed the pool indefinitely we were bummed we couldn't take him back but the facility was very nice and open.

The Pool was nice and valet parking was good.

Service there is poor and selection is average for the money they charge.

but, everything at the hotel is super expensive!

Marriott is already the most expensive in the class and I believ I need to branch out

This place is just ticking over year-by-year and they seem to be avoiding spending money on it at all costs.

It's also scary when the store within the hotel does not have any prices on anything, so I definitely went to CVS down the street for some items/snacks.

There is a pretty high fee for picking it up in very slow FrdEx center!

Felt a little pricey for what you were getting- would definitely have not paid for it if it wasn’t for work.

I do not recommend this hotel at all cost. Avoid.

Valet is expensive which is one reason I’m scoring a 3, $55 a day.

At two separate occasions the price of the bottle was different so I don’t know which cashier was telling the truth.

Plus they had the gaul to charge $23 for a cocktail!!!
